Architect's Duplex - Haut Marais

Well furnished. Centrally located. Very clean with all the amenities. The host Alexandre was great.

Convenient location. Easy to communicate with host. Friendly neighbours. Bed was ok. Quick resolution of issues. Good security. Cafes and supermarket were very close. Very close to a main train station. Microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine were all available.

The stairs are steep and need railing for safety. There was no sink in the bathroom. Website states there is air con but this is not the case. The apartment is tiny. Only space for one person. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything eg towels and no space or shelf to place toiletries. Pillows need replacing with quality standard pillows.

The apartment is adorable, very clean, very well decorated, and in a fantastic location.

The apartment is a little small and the ceiling is a little low - while we had a great time I probably wouldn't recommend it to someone who is very tall.

The apartment itself was very small and the ceiling very low. Would not recommend for tall people. I really hope the staff would pay attention to the cleanliness of the shower as the shower head was quite dirty/ moldy and had to clean it myself. The shower leaked through the crack onto the floor which soaked the whole footmat/ floor towel which we had to rinse out by hand every night. Also, just like everyone else has already written, the apartment only has one small sink which is located in the kitchen. Washing dishes is quite awkward since the water pretty much splashes everywhere. The bed is small (140cm) and barely fits 2 normal-sized people. Worst about the bed is the mattress. When was it last changed? I kept falling into a hole constantly during the night. It would be nice if there were an option to have separate blankets. The only AC they have is a dyson air fan in the bedroom and a ventilation system in the wall upstairs. The whole apartment smelled very moist, moldy and stuffy. We stayed only for 4 nights but it would be good if there were more than just 1 body towel/ person and only one kitchen towel as we use the same kitchen towel to dry dishes and dry our hands. By the end of our stay the kitchen towel reaked.
