We originally booked a flat in the 10th arrondissement near the train station, which was key for traveling with children and a stroller. The host moved our booking to the 12th arrondissement. We couldn't cancel as the booking was non-refundable, so we had no choice but to accept. Finding the apartment was a total quest. Detailed instructions or a short video walkthrough—as many hosts provide—would have saved us a lot of stress upon arrival. On the positive side, location logistics were convenient: the metro station was an 8-minute walk away, and there was a bus stop right nearby. While the overall condition of the apartment was fine for a stay, there were mixed details. We were pleased to find plenty of towels and a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary dishes. However, there was not enough bed linen for all 5 members of our family, and the shower cabin had mold and urgently needs renovation.
