About this house rental
Beautifully upgraded and decorated home located in the popular HOA of Tahoe Park Association. This quintessential "Tahoe home" provides the perfect setting for your family or friends gathering. Large open entertainment areas to enjoy! As you enter in Challies Chalet, you will notice the owners delightful detail to attention and love that was put into this home. They want to make sure you are comfortable and make yourself at home too!
The upper level offers a large kitchen, dining, and living space for your enjoyment. The primary bedroom suite is located on this level and includes a walkout deck to soak up the morning sun. The downstairs level has a family room, pool table, sauna, bunk room, second primary suite, and a shared bathroom also. The primary suite downstairs plus bunk room is terrific for 2 families with kids to share together.

Commons beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. In the Winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar.
Parking:
There is a two car garage and parking for two more cars in the driveway. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
