Una obra de reparación de la fachada que nos tenía despiertos a las 8 de la mañana y ya no paraban de hacer ruido.

Responsiveness of owner. Carlos met us on arrival, arranged parking for us locally and attended to our needs promptly. Quiet apartment block. Within walking distance of beach promenade.

An additional mirror in the living room would be good.

The host was kind and showed us around the apartment. The location is fantastic for accessing buses and taxis as well the shopping area or beaches. It's a short taxi ride away from Vegueta but that's no problem. The apartment is very quiet, despite being in the centre of town and has lovely eateries around. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and 4 big towels and 4 hand towels were supplied. The kitchen had utensils for quick cooking or breakfast and many supermarket options were nearby.

The apartment has a horrible musty smell from mould and mildew in the walls. The smell permeates everything inside - bed linen and curtains etc. It's quite difficult to tolerate and exposure is harmful to health longterm. The bathroom drain had a sewage smell for over 2 days. There is no dresser in the apartment and the bathroom had no place to put toiletries for getting ready. It was a bit difficult to manage and despite many similar comments, the host does not seem to care enough to repair or add these small things. Parking is close by but expensive at 18Euros for each day
