Kerkini Houses

We stayed at Kerkini Houses for a brief overnight stop during a longer car trip earlier this year and we enjoyed our short stay so much that we returned for a longer stay, with the aim to visit the lake and surroundings. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped and very nice as a whole. The place is quiet and we had a good sleep. The property (houses, yard, parking) is fenced and feels very safe. We like the private shaded parking which corresponds to the number of the houses so we could leave and return without worrying about finding a parking spot. The host is always available to help and give information or advice, he responds very quickly to any requests. Last but not least, he helped us organise a lovely boat tour of lake Kerkini (thanks again for that!).

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Kerkini Houses, everything was perfect. The area is gorgeous, the owner of the property is very friendly and the houses are big, comfortable and clean. We'll definitely stay for a longer period when we go back.

-Super clean and tidy -Well informed and kind host; always ready to help or offer some tips - Cozy little house well equipped for a long or a short stay - Wonderful location, surrounded by nature, peace and calm - The free bike facility is a wonderful and kind gesture ment to help tourists to explore the area in a healthy and environment friendly way; both natural surroundings and the village itself are very safe even for beginners; very few cars pass by even on the main road -Good and cheap local food at 10 minutes walk or 2-3 minutes by bike; the locals are friendly and always glad to help; I met a young man there who immediately offers to translate for me at a food local where they didn’t speak english; but mostly the restaurants staff does speak a good english

Everything was lovely

A lot of information and openess. Beautiful natural view. Accesible and low prices at local tavernas.
