It was not super easy to get the keys, but NOT hard either; it was just step 1-5 to get key and get in our stay. It was pretty easy to book it though. The hostess that the owner left in charge was super nice and considerate of my restricted mobility. It was OK/Doable for the cleanliness. being inside of the property seemed pretty safe...
Outside (the LOCATION) was quite sketchy and scary-looking. We didn't "fear for our lives"; just not used to that type of area, mainly because of all the run-down and abandoned houses (no offense- that's just PR's typical low-to-mid housing), the mangy cat and a rat across the street from our stay as we were getting out of our Uber. There's very little-to-No hot water (This may NOT be avoidable being that this may be typical for the whole San Juan). It may not be "too far" from the beach, just not a walkable distance.

There was off street parking for our car. Room was comfortable and clean. Host quickly responded when we arrived.
Street noise made it a little tough to sleep.

it was spacious and parking was available.
It was clean but it could do with a deep clean of carpets, couches inside and outside, which does not seem to be the case.
