Riverside Stay

The location was beautiful, right by the river and pretty gardens. Our hosts, Denise and Richard were extremely welcoming and friendly. The house is gorgeous and lovingly renovated. We had our own lounge/breakfast room downstairs (with a bathroom) and the bedroom upstairs (with another bathroom). I loved the roof terrace. It was exceptionally clean and well presented, with a comfy bed, bathroom products and quality linens. Tea, coffee, treats and a little fridge in the room were much appreciated. The outstanding feature was Denise's breakfasts - 5* meals and presentation of wholesome, nutritious and delicious foods. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Nothing negative to say. Just a warning that the lanes leading to the house are narrow and the last bit is not tarmaced, so drive slowly. Keep going as it's a little further down the lane than you might think and you will loose your phone signal for a moment!

Located by the river Tamar in Gunnislake. There were beautiful views of the river and wooded valley from our room.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Beautiful B&B located next to the river and the Tamara Way. Spotlessly clean with friendly hosts and an outstanding breakfast: well presented and full of flavour.

Richard and Denise were excellent hosts and the accommodation and breakfast exceeded our expectations. We would certainly recommend Weir House and hope to return there someday.
