Owners not responsive to guest requirements diminish stay quality at nice property and location

Good location with easy access to restaurants, cafes, and transit or walking to city center. Apartment was pretty and clean.

It was ground floor unit (which is normally fine but stone floors were cold) and it was very rainy and somewhat cold during our visit. Only the rear bedroom heating unit was operational so we had to stay huddled on bed and in bedroom. Even though we followed directions listed to restart front room heating unit it remained non-operational during entire visit. Also front room TV and remote did not work, (tried trouble shooting and battery swap but no help). Entire apartment ended up being quite dark in late afternoon and sunless days as many overhead lighting fixtures were not functioning, especially over kitchenette area. Wicker lamp in front room light bulb was useless and needs to be replaced as when on it gave just a slight glow. Owner was contacted continuously however did not respond to our difficulties.

Appropriate stay for one night

Location ~10 min walk to the center. Apartment small but for 2 people is ok to stay 1-2 nights.

Apartment is street floor (large windows street level makes feel like living in shop window:)), street is quiet, but pretty noisy from neighbors above. We missed mosquitoes net on the bedroom door as plenty of mosquitoes despite the fact that we stayed in May.

Lacks hooks/ hanging places for clothing throughout…an artistic translucent film on part of the front window would allow occupants to open drapes more comfortably…is the plate shelf really well attached to the wall?…

Apartment is well designed with comfortable features, making it feel immediately like home. Well located within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and public transport. Nespresso coffee machine for decent coffee.

A stylish home base in a stylish city. The apartment was sparkling clean, chic, comfortable and easy to find. There is a bit of outside noise as it's on ground level, but hardly noticeable as it's on a quiet residential street. Just round the corner from superb coffee and great shopping on Nationalestraat. Would definitely book again.

Ideal für einen Kurzurlaub/Städtetrip

Die Lage ist super, alles fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Wer nur übernachten will und vielleicht noch frühstücken ist hier super aufgehoben. Für sehr hohe Ansprüche nicht geeignet, aber wir waren zufrieden.

Wie kamen und der Abfluss im Bad war verstopft. Wurde am nächsten Tag aber sofort in Ordnung gebracht. Die Terrasse oder wie man es nennen mag wollten wir nicht unbedingt nutzen.

De ligging was perfect, groot ruim appartement

Badkamer schuifdeur was op, schimmel tussen. Wasbakje verstopt ( was al gemeld in review begin juli!) Planchet afwezig ( toen ook al in review) Geen ruimte om toilettas neer te zetten. Geen haakjes om jassen of kleding op te hangen.

Het appartement was super centraal gelegen, maar toch in een rustige straat, weg van de echte stadsdrukte.

In de de compacte badkamer bleek helaas nu niet alles 100% in orde te zijn. Het tabletje onder de spiegel ontbrak (misschien was het zeer recent gesneuveld). Het was alleen zeer handig geweest, gezien de beperkte ruimte om iets te plaatsen. Helaas spoelde de wasbak ook zeer moeilijk door. Echter deze probleempjes kunnen snel verholpen worden, waardoor het badkamertje ook weer snel top kan worden.

Wij hebben genoten van deze parel, liefdevol en knap ingericht, op een geweldige locatie!

Met zorg en toewijding ingericht, smaakvol en gastvrij tegelijk! Fijne, centrale en toch rustige locatie. Mogelijkheid om bagage te stallen. Prettig contact met de host. We voelden ons echt welkom!!

Het was wel een beetje koud, maar buiten was het ook vreselijk.
