Property needs maintenance

Location

Lamps were just for show and without bulbs. Shower was standing in tub which didn’t have a water proof screen, so after a shower there was water everywhere on the floor

Agreeable accommodation with modern facilities in a historic mansion near Antwerp iconic monuments

The main advantage of the centrally located property is the availability of a garage (cost = 15€)

We had to prepare ourselves the sofa-bed for the third person. The sheets and pillow were available. There was no indication of how the room temperature could be increased. We had to contact host to resolve this.

The place is cheap, but still I was expecting more

On the phone, people wee nice and accommodated for parking time availability.

Awful smell coming from the bathroom. The bed springs are clearly too worn out. We are at street level and we can here people passing in the street. The booking description implies the parking is included in the price but you have to pay extra and you discover that only after having paid the reservation.

Everything! Great location, spacious parking, very friendly and helpful staff, unique antique vibe and great experience if you want to feel the history of the city and spend the time together as a big company) the kitchen has everything you need, we had 2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, Hogwarts style room for our 4 kids. Perfect

Check out at 10:00 is too early for the family with kids, it was a little bit confusing how to find a parking, because it is on the walk only street. But the host helped us immediately.

Would definitely book again!

The appartement has even more character then comes through on the pictures. The 2 bathrooms are a + when coming with big groups. The lay-out is very fun and the location is perfect! The available garage is a big plus! Communication was very easy and quick. We would book again!

A night at the museum - at a very reasonable price

The host Eliezer was extremely gracious in allowing us to leave our car (and luggage) at the garage before check-in time. So we were free to explore the Antwerp Art Museum which I highly recommend. The children loved the activities for kids there! The apartment is very centrally located, so we explored everything on foot. The house is historic, the beds were antique too - which was a cool experience. In our room was a wonderful painting. We also admired the collection of porcelain that was displayed. So in a way it felt like a night at the museum.

We arrived quite late after our exploration in the city and realized the heat wasn't on. As it was late, we didn't want to disturb our host and it wasn't freezing, so we managed. I am sure our host would have addressed it though.

Truly unique apartment so tons of fun already in just getting a peak of what it looks like inside! One big pro about being in an apartment is having the flexibility to schedule things as you need. Eliezer, managing the communication, was very helpful with quick response times and that really made this possible.

There were some light repairs needed around the house - broken blinds, dripping shower fixture - but nothing major!

Wonderful Apartment

Location amazing for shops, bars and the main square. The character of the building and entry hall is spectacular. . Fabulous safe and secure garage to park your car. A very quiet street. Perfect stay for a couple.

Slightly lacking some kitchen utensils. Needs a sharp bread knife. Struggled to cut loaf for our bread and cheese and meat feast lol

Exceptional location in the heart of Antwerpen wuth free internet and free parking. Big bedroom on a ground floot facing tiny street..decent size bathroom with a bath and plenty of hot water.

Dry bushes in the entrance hall to be removed.Lights in the hallways need to be brighter to make entrance to the house more welcoming.c Also bath/shower gel should be appreciated. It just suggestiins which would make a griundfloor apartment more enjoyable.

Fantastic property - very comfortable, nice and cool and quiet and with good facilities. The location is brilliant, a really good base from which to explore Antwerp. Communication with hosts has been very good, I would highly recommend staying here.

Superb

Lovely place and atmosphere, as the photos show, and you can tell that there's care in the details. Very convenient location, walking distance from the train station, and a couple of minutes from the old town. The hosts replied quickly and kindly to all mails, and were flexible about our check-in and allowed us to leave our suitcase in the garage (that we could have used if we had needed it) after check-out. We stayed in the smaller room, that has a very spacious main/bedroom, with a kitchen and very large bathroom. With a special deal on Booking, the quality/price ratio was unmatchable.

If you like opening the windows, you should be aware that the room is located on the ground floor, on a small street, so you're right on the sidewalk (there is an electric fan, though). The beds could be more comfortable.

Perfect location to visit Antwerp, lovely rooms, a lot of space, nice soft (not too soft) beds, free parking, friendly neighborhood, great host. Everything you need for a city trip is present! Loved the total package. (And I really like to know what detergent you use, the sheets smelled so nice 😂)

Very unique and great spot.

The location was great and the space was unique. Very cool and lots of character and room to spread out. Everything we needed for a visit to the city. The kitchen was a nice touch too.

Directly across from an office space. Make sure you close the blinds when you go to bed. It is in the middle of the city so it is not unexpected.
