Nice hotel near Ubud center

We had a very nice stay and the staff was really helpful. Not so far from Ubud center but away from the craziest traffic. The breakfast was very good, we got complimentary floating breakfast one morning. Good prices for daily trips as well.

Peaceful oasis amid the chaos in Ubud

From the very first moment we were treated like royalty, staff had an amazing eye for detail, very service minded, attentive and always with a smile. We felt really seen as guests and their positive energy was infectious! Food was really good and a very good price! For breakfast you choose between different menus and we even had an incredible floating breakfast in the pool. The pool and garden area was so peaceful and felt secluded and calm. It's a bit away from central Ubud which we liked as it was more tranquil but worth noting it's not easy walking to the centre. The beds and pillows were amazing, the balcony was spacious and has views of the pool, they left water every time they cleaned... we loved everything!

It has nothing to do with the hotel which was incredible, but I would recommend booking transport and ferry ticket privately and not through the hotel.

Such a wonderful little gem!

We had the most amazing holiday! The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short scooter ride from Ubud center, but far enough to feel surrounded by nature. We loved every corner of the property, the lush garden, beautiful trees, and even a yoga shala. Everything was so green and well maintained. The view from our room was stunning. The staff were all so lovely, always smiling and super helpful. Our room had a few small signs of wear, but it was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable, so we didn’t mind at all. We ate at the hotel every day because the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect for a quiet stay in Ubud.

This is a small and well run guesthouse. Quiet, clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast it is within easy reach of chaos of central Ubud. There’s a pool to cool off in after your day’s sightseeing. Thoroughly recommended!

Wonderful friendly hotel.

The hotel / villa rooms were amazing with plenty of space . The wonderful staff were always available to help with kindness and smiles. The place is not far from central Ubud and close to alot of wonderful locations. The rooms off great views of the pool and areas with amazing beds.

Excellent stay – clean, comfortable and great service

Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the room was spotless, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We used the laundry service and it was excellent – quick and well done. The bathroom had a large, functional shower; bottled water was provided every day; and both bath towels and pool towels were of good quality and replaced daily. Everything felt clean and well cared for. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great attention to detail and warm service. We would happily return and recommend it to other travellers visiting Ubud.

The only minor downside is that the location is a bit away from the centre, although it’s easily reachable by Grab.

Lovely place

The staff was amazing and really friendly, help us with everything we need it. You can rent scooter from them, or daily trips/ activities. The breakfast was really good and they also offer you a floating breakfast in the pool. We enjoyed staying there. Not very far from Ubud center.

Lovely place and staff, highly recommended

Peaceful oasis from Ubud caos, lots of green and lovely swimming pool. Few rooms, clean and nicely decorated, with nice patio overlooking the swimming pool. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices and the restaurant in general is highly recommended, the dinner was great too. The staff is lovely, very helpful and always smiling, they even packed us breakfast on the last day.

Please note the hotel is not walking distance from Ubud center, you need to take taxi/motorbike.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

The stay at Bubu Suite was amazing! The staff was extremely kind, they helped us to organise a scooter for the day, taxis, massages and tours and were always there when we needed something. The hotel itself is wonderful, not too big but with very spacious, well maintained rooms, a beautiful pool and a calming atmosphere. The breakfast selection was great as well. Overall one of the best hotels we stayed at during our time in Bali!

Short walk into main road Ubud, authentic Indonesian food

only a small complex of 8 villas all with charm and cleanliness, great pool and gardens maintained. Breakfast was a great selection and worth the 100IRP. Walking distance we managed into Ubud central daily, using our phone torch to navigate at night. 8-10mins was all that was required. Quicker to walk than catch Grab or taxi due to heavy traffic. Would stay again. Lovely staff and nice to stay on the outskirts of town.

Amazing

The pool and the garden are amazing. We order a floating breakfast and it was spectacular. The breakfast is very good. Rooms are large, very clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly, smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be back next time.

Not perfect but worth the price

The location is no better or worse than most places in Ubud you’re not going to be walking much anyway. The traffic is busy, and the city lacks a proper center or walking paths. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant offers good prices, but the food is average — not something I’d want to eat every night. Breakfast is fine, but instead of offering four set menus, it would be better to simplify things and offer one choice per category (e.g. eggs, toast, fruit, drink). Overall, it’s a good price and I would recommend it.

My main complaint is the air conditioning. Even though it was working, it had an old, sour smell. With three days of pouring rain, the room got so humid that all our clothes ended up damp.

Perfect, welcoming, relaxing and everything you could need plus more!

Everything! The property was stunning, it had everything you could possibly need while there! The staff bent over backwards to help you but weren’t pushy and gave you plenty of space to yourself as well! They were so friendly and the facilities were fantastic! Will definitely be going back!

Nothing at all! It’s about a 5/10 minute walk from the main shops in Ubud so if you don’t want to walk I would say that’s the only downside but it’s got the most stunning view of the Forrest and hills as it’s that little bit out of the central, but the walk was very manageable and lots of convenience stores and amazing cafes right outside regardless!

Oasis in Ubud

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Bubu Suite. The room was clean and tidy, the team were very friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. Being just out of the main town, it felt very peaceful and quiet. It was nice to retreat back to the hotel in between our Ubud adventures. We look forward to returning!

Hidden gem

Loved this little hidden gem. Honestly cannot fault the place. We had a ground floor pool view room and it was just amazing. Clean and professional staff. The breakfast every morning was exceptional. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend. Had no issues with any insects or food. Local to the town.

Amazing stay! The hotel staff are lovely and the rooms are spotless. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in for a long time! Water bottles and toiletries included, breakfast was AMAZING and the wifi and aircon were great!

It’s a little bit far to walk into central ubud but doable! The road is also quite bad leading up to the hotel but some taxis had no issues picking us up/dropping us off.

Cleanliness, service , pool , surrounding view. They also organised a cake to celebrate our daughter’s bday. Breakfast was handcrafted ( not buffet ) and very fresh. Highly recommend this place

Superb stay

We loved the greeting from staff; they came straight away to carry our luggage up the stairs. Our room was spacious and clean/tidy on arrival. We had free breakfast included in our booking; there were 4 set menus to choose from. My daughter is vegan and I'd like to thank the staff for adapting the menu to cater for her dietary requirements (they even went the extra mile to buy in soya milk - brilliant). They offer motorbike hire for an additional and reasonable cost (you will need your driver licence) which is handy. My daughter also loved the garden hut where she could quietly practice her yoga each morning. Free beach towels are available on request to use by the pool. Thank you, we had a super stay and highly recommend.

Amazing

The hotel was dream-like, perfect positioning, not too far from Ubud centre (5-10min taxi) but also the pool overlooked the jungle- it was breathtaking. The staff were all amazing and lovely; the night we arrived they kept the kitchen open for 1 extra hour just so we can have dinner. Rooms were always cleaned to a perfect standard. There was a wide range of breakfast options too, catering for everyone. They also helped us organise a private taxi service and several activities. They made our stay in Ubud unforgettable!! Small, family-run (8 rooms total) but very professional and amazing.

A beautiful setting in a quiet and out of the way location but still conveniently located a 5mins drive from the Ubud centre. The staff were all so friendly, attentive and willing to help in any way. We were very happy with this choice of accommodation. Excellent value for money.

Exceptional

Gorgeous clean and comfortable rooms that all seemed quite new. Our room opened up onto the pool which was great. The whole place looked just like the pictures, absolutely stunning looking over the pool at breakfast each day. One of our favourite breakfasts of our trip also with great pancakes. Food for lunch was also really good. It’s far enough away from the busy streets that it was super peaceful at night too. It was walking distance for us to the main strip but we often just ordered a grab scooter each, which was super easy.
