To be honest, I can't think of much. I enjoyed the cats roaming around and the chickens, and that's it.
Where to begin, the host and the housekeeper were horrendously rude to me when trying to figure out how to get into the property. The building turned out to have no keys at all to any part, including the front doors and my room. I was told I don't need a key to my room, and it only locks from the inside. There were three dogs left unattended by the owner, and I was not warned of this beforehand. This is very important as my dog is a rescue and can't interact with other dogs well. Two of these dogs were loose unattended, and one bulldog left in a cage far too small for him.

It’s easily accessible and yet at the same time hidden away and very private, you wouldn’t know it’s there! Close enough to local shops, fish & chip shop etc. but situated surrounded by fields and lovely scenery. Very quiet, just the sounds of nature and animals, perfect. Jonathan and Sue (hope I’ve remembered the name correctly) were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive, and the dogs are very friendly too! Thank you, we hope to be back.
Loved the property and the location. One small blip - totally not the owners fault, couldn’t be helped - was the wet paint on the stairs. This was due to the carpet having to be removed (radiator issue) and the paint not drying in time. Jonathan did his best to contact me prior to arrival and, as already mentioned, these things happen and it couldn’t be helped. It just made getting me, my dog and our luggage upstairs very challenging!

The location is lovely great to get away from busy life .
Staff were friendly and welcoming .
I think the place does have so much potential if the following was addressed.
1. The location is lovely but in the dark very difficult to navigate to ( for example I misread the sign for the farm and ended up on a bad road that scraped my car.
2. On arrival to the farm in the night it was very difficult to find my way to the accommodation ( sensor lights outside would fix this issues.
3. I can’t comment on breakfast due to leaving early but the host was super friendly in the morning which was great .
4. The smell of dogs was overwhelming even though I love dogs and was allowed to have my dog to stay with me ( which was great ), I think if they built an outdoor shelter for the dogs it would help a lot .
5. It was really cold in the evening ( so maybe improvements on heat )
I feel bad for picking up on these small details because the price was really good !
But all that was listed is just recommendations for improvements.

The host did make provision for gluten free breakfast but unfortunately I did not stay to have it. It was quite a beautiful spot by a waterfall.
Unfortunately the property had significant leaks due to the rain fall which i was not told about until I arrived. I waited 40 minutes in my car for someone to arrive to let me in. The house was very damp, the bathroom had several leaks in the roof being collected in containers and also in my bedroom. I appreciate the weather played a factor but I could not stay in the property sadly.

The place is absolutely beautiful with its waterfall, the breakfast is incredibly generous, and the owners are lovely. If you want to get away from it all, I recommend this place. In fact, this is the first time I've left a review after dozens of bookings via Booking.com.
It's difficult to find the right temperature for the shower.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cilffriw Farm. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Set in beautiful countryside, it’s perfectly located for exploring local attractions and shops.
Waking up to the morning sun streaming through the windows, the cockerell crowing, and cows mooing was such a lovely way to start the day. The hosts’ two corgis even joined me and my dog for a walk down the lane, which was delightful. Breakfast was a generous spread with everything you could want.
I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews. It seems some guests didn’t read the description carefully before booking. This is a charming old farmhouse, not the Ritz, and that’s exactly its appeal. If you’re after sleek modern decor and a spotless hotel-style experience, this may not be for you. But if you appreciate peace, nature, and the character of a traditional countryside home, you’ll love it here.
It was comfortable, and wonderfully peaceful. The host is friendly and sociable, and the housekeeper is kind and chatty. I loved being surrounded by nature and farm life - yes, there are the farm dogs and other guests dogs, and they sometimes bark, but that’s part of the charm!
I would happily stay here again.
There's nothing to not like if you read the description.....you get exactly what it says you will.

Great owner who made it feel like nothing was too much trouble. The price of this place was exceptional value for money. Plenty of cereals and fruits on offer for breakfast. Very friendly dogs too.

The area was lovely and very peaceful.
The house was a farm house and they have lots of house animals which unfortunately has given all of downstairs that smell of wet dog and is rather unpleasant.
The floors creak, the locks are not great and although we had booked they were not expecting us. Also they had a party and the people had to use the toilet upstairs as well but tried to enter our room due to not knowing where to go and being somewhat drunk.

Excellent stay, also had a wonderful host there who was very polite and friendly. I met some others in the accommodation that were also very friendly. the shared kitchen had EVERYTHING you would need. Jonathon is so lovely and friendly and will answer any question you have. The house has a beautiful enchanting garden and if you're lucky you'll see the cats running around outside.
I cant mention anything I didn't like. Pictures are accurate and everything is lovely. No issues, parking was there! Note that the bed has a foot board for all you tall people who understand ;)

Loved the location. Very quiet (with the exception of the cockerel. Very comfortable room, fantastic garden. All the birds and animals were delightful. Very relaxed atmosphere. Excellent breakfast.. No issue with securing our bikes. Full use of the kitchen or options to order in for other meals.

Quirky nature of the property I liked very much. Very laid back all facilities are there and you are more than welcome to use them.
Very minor and I mean very minor the cockerel’s will have you awake when the sun rises. But the clue is in the name.

If you are looking for the sterile impersonal experience offered by the likes of Travelodge, Ibis, Prem etc - don’t come to Cliffriw Farm. It has the cosy vibes of a bygone era of bed and breakfast, sharing a home with lovely people in a beautiful setting. To top it all, it was amazing value for money!
My car was fine but if you’ve got a flashy sports car, the access lane is narrow and bumpy! There were a few spidery cobwebs but hey, the countryside is no place to have phobias.

Nothing. It was old, overgrown. All the furniture was old.
Everything. The owners did not appear on arrival and had no contact with them during the evening. I had asked to take my Jack Russel terrier with me which was agreed. There was no mention that there would be two corgis and a mastiff type dog in the house. One of the corgis attacked my dog but caused no injury. Only after I arrived did I discover that breakfast was not until 8.30 and I need to leave by 8.
When leaving in the morning I very nearly trod in a massive load of dog shit which was in the doorway. A totally unhygienic situation.

Fantastic breakfast and staff lady very friendly. Short car drive from main areas.
Cleanliness - cordial had a layer of mould on it. Smelt of dogs.

Lovely people. Very relaxed set up
Wet dog smells throughout the house taking my breath. Dog poo in yard , smells coming right through the bedroom windows. Cat meowing all night right outside the window. The smell of dog was absolutely terrible.

We came here because of the price. Many places are a rip-off nowadays. If they can give a reasonable price, why can't others.
The room was fine, albeit having a shared bathroom. Top of the stairs on the right.
Door locks only lock you in. If you leave, the room is open.
Breakfast was do it yourself. I have a very nice looking cheese and kisses, so she did it.
Building and entrance is naff.
Contact number didn't reply to my telepgone call
Found entrance door by luck.
