Ground floor. Quiet. Comfortable for we two elderly ladies.
Just a little thing. There is a connecting door between the bedrooms which needed a curtain to block out light. 2 people with different bed times and reading habits. We solved it with a bath towel.

It’s well located in the centre of Talgarth.

Bedrooms quiet despite property being on the street. All the town facilities nearby. Off-street parking not too far away.
The sitting room has poor lighting in the region of the sofa if you want to read printed material - a more specific controllable light from behind or at the side of the sofa would help.

Lovely quiet location.
Beautiful scenery and lots of history.
Easy to travel to other places
Maybe provide a guest book for comments and a small file of nearby things to do and see.

Drab and cheap interior. Charity shop furniture and pictures level.

The property was large enough to accommodate us.
We were not made aware that the property was immediately opposite a pub. All windows were directly onto pedestrian arrears, which gave us little privacy. We were told that the property was soundproofed, it was noisy.

Loved the location, enough space for the 3 of us and very handy for the pub!
Would have liked to have stayed longer and had more time to look around Talgarth properly.
Only issue was that we couldn’t get the TV to work properly, but that was a minor problem and didn’t detract from our stay

Location was fine for the Hay Festival
The double bed wasn't terribly comfortable. Perhaps softer pillows?

I’ve stayed here twice now with my children - my son particularly wanted to go back. It’s perfectly cosy, great location, no fuss, just what we needed. We enjoyed the family games provided and were delighted with the complimentary Welsh cakes - thank you! The free parking just down the road and proximity to lovely walks around the town and to Hay on Wye all make the location perfect.
We had to turn off or cover up some of the electric lights on the heaters to go to sleep as my son is quite sensitive to light at bedtime and those electrics make it quite a bright environment. A problem that we solved very easily, however, and he was keen to return for another visit.

It was our second stay here, and again we really enjoyed it. The property is quiet and comfortable, with all the facilities needed. The village car park is a short walk away, and the area has lots of excellent hiking close by. And a lovely pub across the road. Really like the flexible check in/check out times, great for the unpredictability of UK roads.
The mattress for the double bed may need to be replaced.

Everything you need in a small house. Spotlessly clean. Great location to explore the area. Pub opposite did some nice food. Would stay again as great value for money. Sofas & beds nice & comfy.
The backyard area was a bit messy and not closed off, so I had to keep dogs on a lead. We couldn't get the reclining sofa to work. It would have been nice, but it was still comfy anyway. Parking isn't ideal but was OK and at least it was free! Our towels smelled strongly of bonfire, obviously must have been outside when someone had a fire.

Great location and a lovely house! Was good size for the four of us and was very clean and tidy, the hosts were super helpful and spoke to us before we arrived what we needed to know. Easy parking also!
The house was echoing, could use more to dampen the sound, as could hear the neighbours. More cleaning products! As nothing to clean the oven with etc, also maybe a vacuum.

Well made and laid out for a small flat. Good facilities and thank you for the Wesh cakes 😁. Lovely town; very friendly people and great food at the pub around the corner.
Parking neat by was a bit of an issue.

Good location, parking not too away. Great coffee shop and bakery nearby as well as a co-op for essentials.
Very clean. Good communication with owner, Ffion dealt with queries promptly.
We had an issue with internet, not the owners fault and a problem with the shower which was quickly rectified by the owner.
Some outdoor space would be lovely, there is an overgrown garden to the rear which would be fab to put a table and chairs outside.
