Woolwich Studio Bliss, Private Oasis by the Water

A cosy, quiet and comfortable stay in a convenient location. Using the nearby ferries was great.

Some items and aspects were a little tired.

Cupboard under the microwave would be better replacés with 3 wide drawers!!

The location: Woolwich is a world away from the hustle and bustle of central Sydney yet within easy reach of the sights by ferry The flat has all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay Madecomfy who manage the property were very receptive. Given the price of accommodation in the Greater Sydney area, it's pretty good value.

The flat is small. For one person it's fine, but as a couple we were falling over each other at times. As others have mentioned, it's almost impossible to keep the bathroom dry. The garden is 'wild'. No problem with that but the porch was dirty and could do with better maintenance. I think that the Australian Binman's Grand Prix must have been taking place one morning during our stay. The noise started at +/-04:30 and continued almost uninterrupted until 07:00 (other than that it was pretty quiet although there is some aircraft noise). The WiFi was not working throughout our stay which was inconvenient to say the least. TBF Madecomfy were proactive in trying to fix the problem, and both they and the owner offered compensation without being asked.

Location clean and tidy

No outside light so difficult to walk up stairs and open door to the property at night. Fire alarm wasn’t working and was hanging down from the roof.
