Location is great. Walking distance to Balmain main shopping street for coffees, meals and market supplies. A quiet residential area. A nice aesthetic in the apartment with lots of books and art. Well suited for a single traveler or a couple. Great communication with Tim, our host. We had an issue with no hot water being available. Tim did his best to try and fix it given it was a weekend.
The smell of mould/mildew in the apartment, the shower screen door leaks badly and the one wine glass provided was filthy. These issues were raised with Tim and I'm sure he will get them sorted out. Potentially it can be a fabulous apartment.
