Very comfortable apartment with amazing panoramic view!

The apartment was even nicer than I expected. There is an incredible panoramic view of Leuven through the windows of the apartment on the 9th floor. The apartment was well furnished and equipped. Having the bar/café downstairs was especially nice. The location is also very nice and within walking distance of the city center.

Using the app to be able to unlock the elevator in the evenings to go up to the apartment did not work as there is no signal inside the elevator. So, I had to ask for help at the bar or take the stairs a few times until I was given a badge to unlock the elevator in the evenings. The staff said they are working on resolving this issue though. Only other minor issues with the apartment were that it did not come with any soap for washing hands or dishes and that the bathroom with the shower was not as nice as the rest of the apartment.

Excellent room and value

The 10.3 loft is beautiful, spacious, with excellent views of Leuven. The bed is very comfortable. I like the open floor plan with the extra storage area adjacent to the bed but out of sight. The room was very quiet. Although the bar and restaurant were closed due to the Christmas holiday, we were able to take advantage before they closed and the food and drinks are excellent. Having a kitchenette is great.

A couple extra pillows on the bed (so two per person) would have been nice. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, but that may be something I overlooked in the description. It was no issue for us. I did have to check under the bed for a dropped item and it was dusty, as was the plant. We don’t care but some people would.

Excellent location! Great rooms! Great views! Everything is great! Very modern and well equipped. I would definitely stay here again next time.

Staff are completely unreachable at night. Once there was a power cut and when we called the staff no one answered. As others have noted, there is no hand soap, laundry detergent or electric kettle. With such great facilities, why don't they provide them?

Stylish, quiet, spacious and comfortable apartment - would stay again

The apartment definitely has the 'wow' factor. Floor to ceiling windows, wonderful views, heaps of space. Two huge sliding windows to the outside. The furnishings, crockery and finishes are all beautiful. The apartment is really quiet and a lovely place to spend time. Most places 'inside the ring' in Leuven can be walked to from here in about 20min maximum.

The studio did not have any soap (not even dish soap), nor a hair dryer or ironing board. These small touches would make an already excellent apartment really, really superb.

Probably the best place i have stayed during my travels.

De Hoorrn is a total experience not just residence. The entire transformation of this industrial building into a multi-use complex is absolutely brilliant. Our loft was spacious and clean, with top of the class materials and inspired decoration, all together combined with unique views over the city of Leuven. If i could mention a drawback, it would be the dilemma either to go outside sightseeing or just stay in and relax on the comfortable sofa. Good job guys. Well done!!!

Beautiful loft with the best view of Leuven!

De Hoorn is a fantastic, hip location with beautiful design and a great vibe. The loft itself has an amazing view and is furnished in style. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Quality of the interior is very high and all facilities are foreseen. Great recommendation for longer Leuven stays!

The cleaning quality should be improved - at first glance, all was fine, but the cleaning was not very thorough. Something to improvve.

Better than expected!

This place exceeded my expectations. It is way better than in the pictures! We loved the amazing panoramic views from every room. The apartment is huge and comfortable, and it has a very well curated design. It has everything needed for a nice stay (kitchen has a lot of cuttlery, coffe machine, diswasher...) and we enjoyed having a tv with lots of options for entertainment.

Just to say something, we missed having amenities like soap / shampoo (there wasn't hand soap in the toilet)

Relaxing and energizing to see the night city of Leuven, from the 9th floor!

The view to the city was wonderful, a clean and silent apartment. Very comfortable mattress and the Netflix on the TV :)

Fantastisch en walgelijk tegelijk

De accommodatie is qua locatie en inrichting (meubels maar ook een goed bed) en vooral het uitzicht helemaal top.

De accommodatie stonk naar bedorven voedsel, een geur die uit de koelkast kwam. Men liet ons er gewoon in in afwachting of we het op zouden opmerken en accepteren ofzo. De geur was echter walgelijk en om onpasselijk van te worden. Bij aangeven werd wel een air diffuser weggezet om de geur te compenseren en verminderen maar elke keer als we de koelkast opendeden waar de geur vandaan kwam zaten gingen we bijna over onze nek. Niet even rustig met uitzicht ontbijten dus of ‘s avonds lekker een koud biertje bij het uitzicht. Bovendien wie wil een hotelkamer waarbij de diffused elke paar minuten citroen geur in je kamer spuit. Achteraf nog contact proberen te zoeken maar op mijn berichten werd niet gereageerd. Als de klant betaald heeft en weg is dan eindigt kennelijk de klantrelaties en gastvrijheid. Erg jammer.
