The cottage was just beautiful, a quiet peaceful place that definitely bought us peace coming from a big city. I would live here if I could. Amazing amentities and the bath, goodness coming from a small apartment this was what the doctor ordered. Highly, highly recommend.

The cottage was a delight and a kitchen stocked with spices and cooking essentials usually missing in other places. So quiet and peaceful yet a few minutes walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable and appreciated the washer in the unit.

Very clean and comfortable. Good bed and shower. Plenty of good quality linen. For a longer stay clothes storage might be an issue as most of the wardrobe (could do with more hangers), bedside tables and chest of drawers were taken up with the owner's personal belongings. Our stay was 2 weeks so we kept our suitcases open on the bed in the other bedroom (which is not included in the let). Once we sorted ourselves out with all that we had a lovely time and were very happy and comfortable in the property. It was really useful having such a lot of basic condiments, detergents etc available so we only had to buy food. We particularly loved the coffee machine! Sharon responded to messages promptly and our 3am arrival (due to a flight delay) didn't cause us any problems. I met Sharon by chance one day and she was lovely. We love Orewa and would definitely stay at Sharon's again when next visiting family.

Everything was perfect at Sharon’s place. The house was very well presented and equipped, spacious and had excellent outdoor living. It was only a couple of minutes drive to the beach and very close to Orewa. It was so quiet and peaceful and Sharon was very helpful and generous with her home. We would highly recommend.

I recommend this place highly, a home from home, very quiet and relaxing. Deck area is great to sit out with a wine and relax. Cottage has everything you would want, even the pantry was full. I will definitely be booking this again soon. I only stayed 2 nights on business, I could've moved in. :)
