About this house rental
Come enjoy the Lake Mary Lake House. Watch breathtaking sunrises, catch sunfish off the dock, swim with the littles, chat by the fire…whatever it is you go to the lake for, you will find it here. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided.
We keep our rates low and the nightly minimum to 3 because we want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy time at the lake.
Many guests also enjoy renting the pontoon during their stay which is only $200 per day or $600 for the week. This year we have added a fishing boat that is available for the same rates.
This house was completely renovated in 2019. It sits only 50 feet from the water and everything was designed with our guests in mind...relaxation, fun, comfort, convenience and cleanliness. Our hope is for your group to make memories that become stories told for years to come. Many of our guests have made a trip to Lake Mary an annual tradition.
Lake Mary is a clean lake with excellent fishing. Property owner, Mark, is an avid fisherman and will gladly provide some tips upon request. Bass and sunnies are guaranteed. Walleye are abundant as well.
The property sits on a bay. The depth increases slowly, making this ideal for young swimmers or for wading in. The bottom is sandy and the water is clear. You will have 100 feet of lakeshore to enjoy. There is a dock for your boat should you choose to bring one.
The property is in a quiet country neighborhood, 10 miles from Alexandria. It sits on a dead-end road and has an open field behind it. There is a large yard to play in and plenty of parking. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level and 1 in the basement. The living room, kitchen and dining are a spacious, open area.
For the nature lover: View breath-taking sunrises on the lake side, gorgeous sunsets in the back and star gazing at night. There are two bald eagle's nests near the property. Their flight pattern is in front of the property so daily sightings are likely. Loons also live in the bay.
If you wish to take a break from the lake, Alexandria, recently voted Best Town in Minnesota, is just 10 minutes away. Things to do and see include: charming local shops, unique and delicious restaurants, Copper Trail Brewery, Carlos Creek Winery, Big Ole, Brophy Park, and the Central Lakes Trail.

Beautiful lake with good fishing too! Had a wonderful time with family. Hosts were wonderful to work with. Everything from check in to checkout was smooth. Accommodations were as listed with plenty of space for all!

Overall we had a good time and the property was good. We especially enjoyed being able to rent the pontoon. It would have been nice to have a couch in sunroom overlooking the lake with dining table in dining area of kitchen. Furniture somewhat shabby in living room and cheap beds/ covers in bedrooms.
