I stay at a lot of vacation rental homes. This was a lovely home. It was very clean and had nice amenities (short walk to beach, luxurious hot tub, nice neighbors, free parking pass for the beach and on the marsh side (quiet and lots of wildlife). The only things that could be improved: Checking in after five--We were not given the code for the key box and had to call a few people while waiting in the hot sun. Luckily the neighbor gave us a number to call since the person on the after hours phone didn't know what to do. The property manager said he would come by the next day to make it up to us and he never did. Dishwasher--It offered a dishwasher and I am used to having at least one detergent pod, but there weren't any. I forgot to bring my own. Luckily, we had enough dish soap to wash things by hand. HVAC--the unit was struggling to keep the house cool and one bedroom upstairs was pretty warm for some reason. I feel guilty because these are all "first world problems." Other than that the place was great and our vacation was wonderful.

A mistake about the address in the property listing and info from the property managers insisting the the correct address for the property cause me to make a special trip to Tybee to insure we were not being scammed. I searched for the property at 205 5th Ave which they kept insisting was the right address for what is the 209b property. I wasted a whole day getting that straightened out and then the agent referred to it as a "small mistake" a mistake they could have corrected the first time I emailed them before making the trip to inspect. Then, upon leaving they have no way to deal with returning the city parking pass which they threaten to charge me $350 for if I lost it AND it was not in our pickup package so we did without it for 2 days before we realized we didn't have the right pass. My main peeve with the property is not having a remote to shut the garage when u pull your car out and u have to get out and shut the gate then go thru the garage and out the back around to your car. Did not like having no removable shower head on any of the showers. We are all different heights you know. Otherwise the property was very nice.
