Ikkle Cottage

We chose the cottage due to the excellent reviews and it’s location near to the wedding we attended. It didn’t disappoint. The name of the cottage is deceptive as it is very spacious. Two generous bedrooms with ample storage. Great shower in the neat bathroom. Downstairs didn’t disappoint either where everything was catered for. Great welcome gift and extremely comfortable stay.

Little bit difficult to find on entering the village. It’s set back a little from the road. Only one toilet roll supplied for three people staying 4 nights.

It is a lovely cottage, very well located if you want to visit Sherwood Forest or Nottingham city. Quiet location in a small village, but with a good and friendly pub (The Black Bull) round the corner and a supermarket (Tesco Express) at 5-min walking distance. The owners had thought of every single detail, so we had every thing we needed - and much more. They had even prepared a welcome basket with wine, marmalade and chocolates for us. Top-notch!

This cottage is lovely,cosy warm and comfortable. The owners made us and our dog feel very welcome. The location is just right for pubs,shops and walks. We can thoroughly recommend staying here.
