Lovely countryside accommodation with all facilities

Everything was lovely, clean accommodation, very comfortable bed, nice warm rooms, well lit outside, all facilities included (iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and all kitchen utensils, crockery etc), nice quiet country location. Shame we didn't get to see the animals as we were there on business and had limited time, but we look forward to doing so another time.

Clean and modern everything you need for self catering.

It was too close to a main road with traffic noise it made the description of 88 acres a little deceiving. There was no toiletries and having to strip your own beds at the end of your stay a bit outdated.

Excellent location and lovely comfortable Lodges

Loved the lodges we had 3 in total. Family of 10 plus 2 dogs Children loved the games room. Plus the space to play , we brought balls, etc, but all available on site...amazing. It's very near lots of amenities, i.e., White Post farm , Wheelgate....which was amazing for the Xmas lights, Plus, IFun was good also ( Trampoline s).

Perfect family stay

The lodge was perfect and just what i was looking for to stay with my toddler who loves running around. The farm was beautiful too. We will be coming back in the summer!

Lovely accommodation, lovely venue.

The accommodation was in a lovely location and the owners were really helpful and friendly. The pony pamper session was fabulous and the kids absolutely loved feeding the goats. There was so much for them to do, from playing football to feeding the animals, to playing in the games room. They were never bored. 😊

There were no recycling bins that I was aware of. The bin was described as mixed waste, but it would be good to have a separate recycling bin.

It was a very calming place, loved having the goats and sheep right outside our lodge too. Debbie was always at the other end of the phone if we needed anything! The property was also very spacious!

Great place to stay

Beautiful setting, will Scarlett chalet was perfectly located close to the park, animals as you walk out of either the side or front door. Kids loved wondering around and exploring. We took some carrots to feed the animals too. Chalet was comfortable, got all mod cons too which is great. We will definitely be back.

How easy it was to get the keys and self-checkin, the grounds was nice to walk around, the host was very helpful and responsive, excellent customer service, great amenities, very thoughtful amenities available for BBQ and fire. Good quality wood - lit quickly and formed good coal/embers. Loved the marshmallow additional option. Skies are dark enough from city lights for star gazing, I saw some lovely meteors. Romantic, ideal for couples. Large size accommodation, private, relaxing - I highly recommend and I would visit again.

Perfect family mini break

We stayed for three nights and had an amazing time! The cabins are exceptionally clean and have everything you need for your stay. The boys (8 and 4yrs) had lots of space in our private garden which was next to a field so they could feed the animals as we relaxed. The farm walk was lovely in the evening and it was very safe for the boys to have some freedom. They loved the games room and play area. The location was perfect, 20 minutes to all the places we had planned to visit (Sherwood pines, Robin Hood Visitor centre, Rufford Abbey) We’ll definitely be back!

The key was in the door of the property when we arrived and everything was lovely and clean with everything we needed, We liked that you could walk to look and feed the pony’s and goats , our grandson loved the pamper session with spotty and snoopy , the lady was great with him, the openness and views at the front of the property was wonderful too.

It was one of the best places that I have ever visited Very laxury and clean and farm experience with lovely ponys, horses, and goats Customer service was good and answer always fast Read the rules very carefully to gain the most enjoyable moment while your staying I took very late check out and it was worth it I stayed 2 days and I didn't need to go outside ths farm as it was relaxing stay If you don't have a car bring your groceries breads foods with you as a farm groceries are not nearby Overall all 100/100

Really memorable, exceptional location

Beautiful, quiet location and easy self check-in. The lodge was very clean, warm and comfortable with two great sofas and a comfy bed. The terrace doors open to a field where each morning we were visited by a group of happy pygmy goats and sheep. Staff were excellent and even helped us dig the car out when we got snowed in.
