Comfortable and a nice unit. Our game driver Emile was absolutely brilliant, and made things interesting even when game wasn't around.
Eskom cut power to the area. The lodge has generators but only uses them in certain hours. This meant things froze and defrosted constantly in our freezer. With no power there was also then no water. The water in all taps was brown from all the overflowing rivers. The lodge should have provided us with bottled water in this circumstance. There was something in our roof making a noice that we called maintenance but they didn't sort out. There was no hand soap in our bathrooms which is particularly worrying in COVID times.
