Kruger Private Lodge

Breathtaking views over the river where you can watch the numerous animals come and go. Beautiful, peaceful lodge, impeccably clean, with everything you could need. Ruan, Tanya, Donovan and the team provided us with a warm welcome and a totally unexpected level of service - it was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Donovan provided us with exceptional advice on the Kruger and Marloth Park. Dinner was served communally to a set menu and cooked to perfection, whether a Braai or 3 course meal - highly recommended. Breakfast packs were provided for early starts, or small buffet style with hot cooked food of your choice - delicious! We can’t wait to return! Honestly cannot recommend this lodge enough.

Having to leave.

We loved absolutely everything about this property. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and wished we’d booked longer. Amazed to be greeted by a giraffe on the track as we drove down to the lodge on our arrival. We loved the huge room, it was well designed, beautifully decorated, was comfortable and clean, and had a large balcony overlooking the Crocodile River. Great watching the crocs and hippos in the river and the elephants on the opposite bank. Monkeys and mongoose also came into the garden in the afternoon, and Kudu and Impalas came to the back of the lodge in the early evening. Don was a fantastic host, very welcoming and friendly and so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The breakfast and evening meals were fantastic and the staff were friendly and great fun. I can’t say enough good things about this place, definitely our favourite of the four places we stayed during our travels around South Africa and Zimbabwe. Just wish we’d stayed longer.

This was our favorite property that we stayed at in South Africa. The staff was amazing! They made breakfast the days we went into the park and were helpful with suggestions the days we went into the park by ourselves. We saw wildlife on and from the property every single day that we stayed there. Highly recommend!

We were welcomed and offered a drink. The room was nice and big. The view was spectacular. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly. We had a very good time.
