We wanted to be close to Helen but not too close. The house is older but nice. Another reviewer commented that it reminded them of past times. My wife and I agree. It reminded us of days spent on our grandparents farms out west. We loved it. Plenty of room for our family. The Christmas decorations were nice too.

This was the home of my husband's parents who past away. We enjoyed many years visiting here. Steve has done some updating but still leaving the charm of the old farmhouse. We had a little family reunion (the siblings) and brought back a lot of great memories. It's a beautiful area and setting surrounded by the mountains. It's close to many restaurants and activities. Very close to downtown Helen. You won't be disappointed. Steve your host is very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying

We felt right at home in this farmhouse. The host made sure everything was okay, and went out of his way to help our young men from New Zealand have a good time. The ten days went by all too fast. My young grandchildren visited and enjoyed an evening bonfire in the fire pit. We enjoyed the trails through the woods which the host showed us with a ride in his Jeep. A memorable time!

This location was very close to my family. We are from out of state so we enjoy our relatives stopping by. This house was so convenient for shopping and siteseeing. It is very spacious. I loved the coffee bar. Coffee, creamer, and a single serve coffee maker was provided. A basket of goodies was a very nice touch. The kitchen had everything you needed, as well as condiments. The bedrooms were large. The beds were comfortable. The fireplace was so warm and cozy. It was beautiful. We have stayed several times in homes in the mountains of Helen. We enjoyed it very much, but by far this farmhouse is so much easier to access and travel. Parking is so much nicer. The house is interesting. It feels like you step back in time. I would definitely book this house again. Steve is very prompt to reply if you have any needs or questions.
