A good value stay in a beautiful and clean privately owned apartment

The suite was really clean and contained everything we could need for our 2 night self catered stay. Fridge and freezer were on and immaculate, even has a washing machine which was easy to use. Easy to contact the host and they responded quickly on whatsapp. The lady that met us to hand over the keys was really helpful and fetched an extra blanket for the bed settee with no fuss. The pool was lovely and it's a short walk to the beach with lots of restaurants to choose from. The park right next to the hotel is beautiful. The room is also really close to reception, 2 doors down, which meant it was easy to get anywhere which was a real bonus as its a big complex.

It wasn't clear on booking with booking.com that this was a private owner and not the hotel so having a 24/7 reception was useless as they couldn't/wouldn't help with anything. The balcony door locks automatically when you close it (which we did to keep insects from flying into the room) and there is no spare key at reception and the person on WhatsApp couldn't reach the owner. After a short wait (less than half an hour) someone arrived and broke into the room (using a piece of plastic they prised open the yale lock) to let us out of the balcony and back into the room. The pool has sunbeds by it but you have to pay extra to use them and there are no signs to advise this. The bar was expensive, meals and snacks were higher prices than the surrounding restaurants.

Ground floor. Benal beach is huge and the room is right next to reception. Perfect for young children / prams

The rooms weren’t cleaned during the stay. I didn’t mind this, but there was only 1 small Bin bag proved and 1 toilet roll for a weeks stay

Apartamento cómodo, jardines y piscina muy bien. Cafetería -restaurante-heladería dentro del complejo.

NO HAY APARCAMIENTO. Las plazas dentro del complejo son muy pocas, en 5 noches, en ningún momento encontramos aparcamiento, hay que aparcar en los alrededores o en un solar bastante alejado si vas con niños y bebés. Parar el coche en la puerta para bajar y subir las maletas, es un desastre, no pasan ni 5 minutos y ya te están llamando la atención para que lo quites.

Het was oud. Jaren 80 vergane glorie. Super luidruchtig. Deur sloot slecht. Heel veel geluid van de gang de hele nacht door. Zwembad is oud. Onvriendelijke receptionist. Polsbandjes van zwembad vielen van ellende uit elkaar.

BOEK DIT APPARTEMENT NIET als je wil slapen in de nacht.

Kamernummer 223 blok 1 van Benal beach. Je boekt bij een privé aanbieder dus andere kamer is hier niet mogelijk. Wij zijn inmiddels weer thuis na ons verblijf. Helaas moeten we melden dat we erg teleurgesteld zijn over de accommodatie. We hebben ontzettend veel last gehad van gehorigheid. Het was echt een nachtmerrie: we hebben geen enkele nacht goed kunnen slapen. De locatie van het appartement is ook verre van prettig, het voelde alsof we in de receptie verbleven. Het ligt er namelijk naast. Hier komen alle mensen langs van circa 500 appartementen. Elke nacht werden we wakker van gillende kinderen en mensen die tot diep in de nacht langs de deur renden. Het was vreselijk onrustig. We hebben nog oordopjes gekocht bij de apotheek. Daarnaast waren er meerdere punten in het appartement die niet in orde waren. Hoewel het schoon was, was het appartement oud, en veel dingen waren gammel of kapot. Magnetron stonk!! NIET GEBRUIKEN!! GEEN WIFI wat best rot is met 2 pubers. Heeft misschien 10 minuutjes gewerkt en dan klapt het eruit. Wij vinden het erg jammer dat onze vakantie op deze manier is verlopen. Wij begrepen al niet waarom er niets te lezen was in de recensies. We kregen een bericht om eerst met de receptie contact op te nemen voordat we iets plaatsen. Dit bericht gestuurd en er is niet op gereageerd. Beste mensen, als je goede nachtrust wil, boek deze kamer dan niet. Benal beach vraagt 5 euro per bed per dag aan het zwembad. Wil je dit moet je wel om 09:30 uur in de rij gaan staan anders heb je geen parasol. Het resort is al wat verouderd maar keurig schoon en verzorgd. Locatie van Benal Beach is top. Zoek een ander appartement in dit resort.
