About this house rental

Enjoy the best of Hood Canal at Terry’s Beach House! This spacious two-level home sits right on the water's edge. At low tide, you can walk down the to the private beach. Less than10 minutes from Alderbrook Resort.
Our charming little beach house has been remodeled in 2019 and is a 3 bedroom 2 bath and sleeps 10 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed, there is a bunk room with 2 full size bunk beds and a trundle room that pulls out to a king bed. There is also a sofa sleeper in the living room. Brand new remodeled kitchen. New bedding and new furniture. The deck is set up with a Charcoal BBQ, Gas BBQ for outdoor cooking, lounge chairs, and plenty of seating. Internet, WiFi, desk and printer upstairs, tons of board games and toddler friendly toys. Boat Buoy available or you can beach dock your boat.

Bedroom arrangement was weird - would be fine if for one family with parents and kids, but the bunk beds and other single beds are basically in the same room. It was very hot during our stay so the living room and kitchen (no AC there) was almost unbearable. The bedrooms had AC units that worked fine despite the fact that they appear to never have had filters removed and cleaned in their lifetime - they were completely black with filth and disgusting-can’t imagine what we were breathing in all weekend. Also tons of cobwebs and lots of bugs and moths inside. The upper deck is not useable which was pretty disappointing. One bathroom had no soap so we had to get our own. Won’t stay there again and don’t really recommend

Step back in time to a simpler era. Quirky, unique cabin. Huge deck, lots of space, chairs. Boat buoy was a plus. Low tides, lots of Oysters to traverse; wear your beach shoes. Review the bedroom arrangements, close quarters. Driveway is on a corner, drops down to cabin; just be careful.Owners we’re great, easy to deal with. Respected the neighbors privacy, no problems. We had a great time here. House was setup for family’s with water toys, water shoes, games, etc. All the kids loved the beach, we brought a pop-up to offer shade while on the beach and set up our camp chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed; it is a galley kitchen so only 1 cook at a time, but that didn’t stop us. More than enough sleeping space, extra blankets and pillows. Some fussiness with the neighbors but the host reassured us it was more them than us so that made me feel better. We hope to visit again in the future

We stayed at the beach house for several days with our younger children and loved every moment! The house is well stocked, beautifully decorated and located right on the water. The beach kept our children occupied for hours as they collected crabs and shells. We look forward to visiting again! Our only regret is not staying longer!

Thankyou very much for sharing your charming cottage which is nicely decorated!! The view was beautiful, and we enjoyed many meals on the large deck. The kitchen is fully stock with lots of spices, and equipped with lots of pots and pans, cooking utensils. We feel that it best suits maximum 2 families. Our party of 8 made up by 3 families. It does not have 3 bedrooms; it has 3 sleeping areas. One bedroom on main level has a king and a crib. upstairs has 2 sleeping areas, one need to pass the bunk beds area to access the king bed sleeping area, one bathroom on upstairs. Bedroom and sleeping areas each has its own A/C unit, no central A/C.

This is probably the best “equipped” rental we have stayed in. Water toys, kitchen supplies and condiments, coffee and filters…. The rental was spotless and the decor was VERY well done. We spent most of our time outdoors on the LARGE deck overlooking the water. The only downside is the driveway getting OUT is a little tricky due to steepness and the nearby curve in the road. The owners were very responsive to our questions etc. The actual house is even better than the pictures shown on VRBO. The price point is excellent compared to similar rentals in the area.

There were so many thoughtful amenities available like extra water shoes, life vests, phone chargers, and sunglasses. There were plenty of cooking and baking dishes, utensils, dishes, and silverware, even sippy cups, utensils, and a high chair for toddlers!. There was a full range of spices for cooking, coffee, and filters, all you had to do was bring some food and clothes. Plus there was a washer and dryer. It was so comfortable too, including the beds and living room furniture. The BBQs were ready to use, there was an Amazon radio available + binoculars, and more! The views and the sunsets were awesome. You can’t help but make some wonderful memories here, I know we did.

What a beautiful location, and lovely Decour. Great for couples or families! We had plenty of room to stretch out. The only thing is ventilation, we stayed during the heat wave and used the air conditioning units in the windows. They blowed great, but the living room was a little warm. We wished there was some sort of living room ceiling fan and a screen on the back door. Again, this was during unprecedented heat, so during the winter would be different.

This adorable beach cottage is so great! It has a large fireplace, right on the water, large entertaining deck and fully stocked kitchen. It is a short drive to many hiking areas and about 30 min from a large ORV dirt bike park. The hosts have beautifully decorated the interior and were really easy to contact if we had any questions. Our teens are close so it worked out that they shared the upstairs room with beds on either side separated by a bathroom and hallway. We definitely plan on returning!

The minute I walked into Terry's Beach House I was flooded with a wave of wonderful childhood memories! I spent many summers on the canal swimming, water skiing and searching for starfish. This property has the nostalgic feel of a family cabin but with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms and a bright and airy, designer decor. There was a large deck where we watched a seal and her pup play in the water! Melissa had a bottle of wine and charcuterie waiting for us when we arrived! She was quick to respond and easy to work with. A wonderful get away!

We rented this property to have my wife and her bridesmaids get ready for our wedding at Alderbrook Golf Course on July 11, 2020. Melissa was a fantastic VRBO owner to make sure our wedding weekend was everything we wanted it to be. She also provided us with a bottle of wine to start of the wedding weekend right. She also allowed us to use their water toys to lounge in the Hood Canal with. The view was also phenomenal. I would definitely recommend the property to family and friends and will definitely be coming back.
