Such a wonderful home away from home. We were there for a place to rest between wedding plans in the area and found this home to be just that. The home is spacious and well appointed. Each family member had a place to relax and rest, as well as common areas to play and be together. The yard is beautiful as well and a lovely place to enjoy the beauty and quiet space outdoors. We will definitely consider staying here in the future. Thank you for the hospitality and a place to call home over a busy family event.

Our book club of ten long-time (senior) friends from Bainbridge Island choose this house for our annual playreading getaway. It worked out great overall, and the short distance from Bainbridge made it possible for two people who couldn't spend the night to participate. Just a couple of minor glitches: the round dining room table was way too small for our group of ten. We brought three card tables and a tablecloth that we cobbled together for a table. Also, there is parking for only four cars, so that was a bit of a problem. But we were able to carpool or have a spouse/partners do taxi duty. Another bathroom or two would have been welcome, but we made do! The six bedrooms were perfect!

We loved the location and house. A few problems. The heat was controlled in the dining room for the entire house. We discovered that the downstairs floor was 10-15 degrees cooler. It would have been nice to have heaters downstairs. There was insufficient toilet paper left out, but the owner helped us locate more.

Beautiful, spacious home. Convenient location within walking distance of downtown Poulsbo. Great views of the bay with snow-covered mountains in the background. The house is stocked with all the conveniences of home. We greatly enjoyed our stay and recommend that future guests take in the Bloedel Reserve on nearby Bainbridge Island while visiting.Max and Mary J

We loved this home! The views were great and the basement area was perfect for us to relax and have fun in too. The beds were all comfy and the bedrooms were dark which was nice. It was a very easy walk to downtown for dinner at The Loft Friday night. Our only complication was the thermostat/furnace didn't work for us reliably the first night. Scott did everything he could to help me trouble shoot and was prompt to reply. We did get it working for our second day by re setting the furnace. Overall I'd stay again without hesitation.

House was in immaculate condition and has a really lovely mid-century decor. Definitely not the lifeless rentals that you often find. LOTS of space in the finished basement and a really lovely view of the mountains and beautiful sunsets from the living room/kitchen. Also easily walkable from the town, or just a minute drive if you don't want to walk a couple blocks. Would highly recommend!!

We loved our stay here. A 3 minute drive from Poulsbo center, a 9 minute drive to Kiana lodge, 6 bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, plenty of towels, very clean, a beautiful mid century modern living room with a picture window looking towards the bay, and a comfortable downstairs room with a huge TV and comfortable sectional. Exceeded our expectations.

Enjoyed our stay. Working with the owner was very easy and pleasant. He were always quick to respond. The location was great, 5 minutes to the main street of poulsbo and nice quiet neighborhood. View of the water was lovely through the large picture window and decks. House was nicely decorated and beds were comfy. The 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 down plus 2 living room areas worked great for us. The only downside was the no ac, which we knew. It was a hot weekend and we could have used a few more fans. Downstairs much cooler. Would stay again and recommend.

We just had an amazing weekend in Poulsbo. This home is a gem and perfect for our family. Spotless clean, ample living space, amazing views, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. The host is very communicative and responsive to messages. Location is very close to Front Street and Poulsbo village where the Saturday market is held. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. Neighbors are friendly. It’s a quiet neighborhood. Everyone agreed we should come back for another stay soon.

We had out of state guests coming for my son's wedding and needed a large home for all 8 of us. Scott's home was perfect! The beds were comfortable, rooms were plenty big, bathrooms well stocked with towels/supplies and the view was amazing. It is close to downtown Poulsbo and good eateries. We all enjoyed it very much and it was nice to come home to a restful large home.

The 7 of us enjoyed our 5 day stay in this clean retro home. The floor plan worked well for us with our 20 somethings downstairs and 2 parental couples upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked but we didn't take time to cook as the dining room table is too small to accommodate more than 5. The downstairs is nicely set up for family movie night and karaoke. The bathrooms are all nicely upgraded. The early mornings are the best with a cup of coffee and the cool bay air and the view of the smooth glass like bay water. Although the outdoor temperatures were only in the mid to high 80's, with the humidity it would be important to have a window air conditioner and blackout curtains in the upstairs living room where we were uncomfortable between 3 pm and 8 pm.
