Summary:

Number 3 at Pannett Apartments is a luxury stay in the coastal town of Whitby. With beautiful interiors, an ideal location, a balcony area and the Stay North Yorkshire stamp of approval, you can expect a truly wonderful break. Sleeping up to 5 guests, this second floor holiday home is the perfect match for families or groups of friends looking for a seaside staycation.



The Space:

The open plan living and dining area is a clean and modern space. Light fills the room from the tall sky light and statement arched window. You’re welcomed into the room by the cosy living area which includes a comfy, L shaped sofa and large flat screen TV. You’ll notice subtle nods to the seaside with cute sailor cushions and wall prints. On the other side of the room is the dining area. This is the perfect spot to enjoy family breakfasts and evening meals with friends. Rural views can be seen from the dining table, so you’ll feel as though you’ve welcomed the outside in. The bright red lighthouse is a standout design on the wall behind. To the right, you’ll find the modern kitchen which is fully equipped for your stay. With an oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine – you’ll have everything you could need for a coastal retreat. The master bedroom is relaxing and homely with a calming, neutral colour palette. You’ll drift off into a peaceful slumber in the comfy bed. The second bedroom is perfect for older children and teenagers. It has the same comforting feel as the main bedroom, with a subtle nautical theme. The room is complete with bunk beds and a clothes rail. Unlock the glass double doors and you’ll find the balcony space where you can enjoy some peace and relaxation. In the stylish bathroom, you’ll find a spacious bath and overhead shower.

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Free on and off street parking is available on a first come basis. Additional free parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.



The Neighborhood:

Located opposite Pannett Park, which is the largest green space in Whitby, the apartment has the best of both worlds. Enjoy the calm of the immediate surroundings with just a short walk to the bustling centre of town. Find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants on Pier Road. Venture along the lively road and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll find the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk. On the opposite side of the bridge is the East bank. The side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.



Getting Around:

The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Number 3 at Pannett Apartments. Whitby train station is less than half a mile away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealhol

This was a perfect little apartment for a short break at the coast, everything had been thought of down to washing tablets for the dishwasher! Really clean and well kept. Nice additions like a games compendium, DAB radio and smart tv if you get any bad weather. The fabric on the dining chairs was well worn and one of the chair legs broken which we notified the property manager of but this didn’t affect our stay and we would stay again. Great location, thanks so much for the welcome bottle of wine!!
