Large bedroom spacious with nice interior

We couldn’t get in till 5 o’clock which wasn’t good as travelling with young children

The property is clean, decorated lovely and very comfortable. All amenities are catored for. The location is just perfect for exploring Whitby and surrounding areas.

The table in the kitchen could perhaps be a bit smaller. A tea towel and kitchen roll would be good to have but these can be purchased at the nearby Sainsbury’s.

Well-appointed with good bedroom layouts and ensuite bathrooms.

4pm check-in is very unsatisfactory especially with a 10am check-out. On arrival the parking permit was missing which caused anxiety waiting for the permit to arrive 40-minutes later, whilst the car was parked on the street behind the property. Apartment is basically in the basement with no views front or back from the property. Needs a deep clean. There was a mortice lock on the gate, however the bolt didn't reach the locking housing so it provided no safety. The main access was a patio door which didn't feel safe and secure, and made us feel vulnerable. The approach to the property is not attractive walking past large industrial bins and through a back passage into an entrance Yard at the back of the property which was unattractive and unkempt. Patio table and chairs hadn't been cleaned for a while. For the price (almost £250 p/night), no additional complementary necessities. In the past we've been welcomed with a pint of milk, a welcome bottle of wine, a loaf of fresh bread. After checking with the host, to my dismay only ONE coffee-pod was the standard between two guests for two nights!
