Wow everything! Such a wonderful place at udawalawa. If anyone looking for comfy, calm, clean place here we have primrose family resort. Great staff and peaceful environment

The family that run this Homestay are the most amazing and loving people. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by all the family and given welcome drinks. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the location of the homestay is peaceful and tranquil. Exactly what you want from a stay before and after visiting a National Park. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout our whole stay here because the food is so amazing and the best Sri Lankan cooking we have tried throughout our months travel in Sri Lanka. On our first night they drove us to see an elephant orphanage and made sure we got there in the late afternoon to watch the baby elephants feed which was just in incredible. One of our best experiences for sure! The Safari tour through the Primrose Homestay was incredible! We saw Elephants, many wild birds, Coyotes, Lizards, Deer, Fish, Crocodiles, Monkeys and the list goes on!! It was better than we could have imagined it to be :) Don’t worry about anything because they will arrange it all for you, just relax and enjoy your stay in their beautiful home. Thanks to The Primrose family our stay was better than we could have ever of dreamt. If you need help with transport, private message them. Their son Suranga made this trip possible for us, picking us up from Weligama and at the end of our stay and dropping us back to Colombo. He is a hero and we have made a true friend in Sri Lanka. I wish them all be best for the future and when we return, this family home will be the first we will return too

The place is nice, the room is big and new in a nice garden. They also have delicious welcoming juice and beers to enjoy the terrace. The breakfast was fine. For the safari, they organized it for 6000 rupees per person, the guide is nice, the jeep is good, they provide a snack, go for it.

The adress is not at the right place on a Map. So we arrive by bus, walk to the place and had to take tuktuk to go back to the other way. No one speak english. It means they offered us to have dinner there, we said yes but they did not get it and when we asked after dinner they said too late go to eat in the city. Impossible to ask informations about direct buses or anything they dont understand .
