Peacock's Paradise Safari Hostel

The location was amazing. The rooms were neat and spacious. The staff was very friendly. Everything we needed was there - kettle, bathroom amenities, mini fridge tea coffee sachets. Clean towels. They also have a neat maintained pool.

The location is excellent — just a 20 minutes from the Udawalawe National Park entrance. There is secure parking available, and as you’d expect in Sri Lanka, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room had both a fan and air conditioning, a balcony, and just outside was a very clean swimming pool. The pool water is treated and heated daily, which was a fantastic bonus after a hot day on safari. The room was also equipped with a hairdryer and a fridge, and the internet connection was reliable throughout our stay. We stayed as a family with our 8-year-old child and felt very comfortable. All rooms are on the ground floor (a total of five), and the owners are planning to add an upper floor with additional rooms next year. I highly recommend Ali Weta for anyone visiting Udawalawe — it’s a peaceful, convenient, and well-maintained place to stay.

Very cheap stay and no complaints! Rooms were comfortable and spacious, food was delicious. The pool was lovely for a cool off. Conveniently located near the safari and would recommend to anyone stopping by!

Super sauber und unglaubliches Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Tolle gepflegte Anlage, wir haben nach der Safari eine entspannte Zeit am Pool und in den Hängematten verbracht. Safari war auch toll, die Safaris unterscheiden sich von Länge, Preis und Qualität nicht, von dem, was wir im Park mitbekommen haben. Das Frühstück war okay, aber bei dem Preis wollen wir uns nicht beschweren :)
