In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 4, the maximum occupancy is 10, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 4.
This Kiawah Island vacation rental offers 4 bedrooms, a functional floor plan, as well as marsh views from the lovely screened porch. Located on a quiet street, this home is perfect for enjoying the beautiful island. It is only a 9-minute walk to the nearest beach access.
Through the front door, you will feel right at home. To the left is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, bar stool seating for 2 and access to a side deck great for grilling. A dining area, with seating for 8 is the perfect place to enjoy meals together while on vacation. The living room has a flat screen TV, beverage cooler, comfortable seating, and access to the screened porch with a sofa, chairs, table for dining, ring toss game, and a ceiling fan.
The first-floor primary bedroom with flat-screen TV has a king-size bed and invites you onto the screened porch where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the marsh views. The large primary bathroom has 2 separate sinks, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. A half bathroom completes the first floor. Ascend the stairs to find three other bedrooms. The first bedroom features a full-sized bed and private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom, perfect for children, has two twin-over-twin bunk beds and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The last bedroom features a king-sized bed and private bathroom with shower/tub combo.
From the garage, access an open-air space where guests can enjoy playing ping pong, corn hole or simply hanging out. This home also provides many board games for family fun and a Swurfer swing in the backyard.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours.

The house is really nice, good space and great location BUT one evening we came home to find a RAT scurrying into a hole in the bottom of the cabinets off of the kitchen! We did call the property management and they came out the next day to repair and plug up the hole but we don't feel that they made a big enough deal about a rodent being in the property. We slept upstairs that night because we were grossed out. In the 14 years that we have been renting houses and condos through vrbo or the kiawah island resort, we have never had to deal with a rodent in our property. Also, the screened in porch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile - dust, dirt and a lot of cobwebs. Also a couple of days into our stay, something jarred grout or rocks from the fireplace and that made a mess in the living room area. We made management aware of that also but it didn't seem to disturb them either. It's really a shame that the care and management of the house is not comparable to others we have stayed at because it really is a nice house and a great location.
