5 bedroom house with striking lagoon view
Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac across the street from the Kiawah marsh, the property is situated on one of the most beautiful lots in the neighborhood with the most striking view of the lagoon.
The open floor plan with plenty of shared living spaces is ideal for entertaining friends and family. A vaulted ceiling and lagoon view highlight the spacious living room. Adjacent to the main living area, a sitting room features access to the deck overlooking the lagoon.
A guest suite is at the first floor with a Queen size bed and a full bath. Fully equipped, the kitchen has a center island with seating and offers plenty of storage and preparation room. The adjacent dining area, with lagoon views and skylights, opens to the deck and gives the chef a beautiful space to relax while waiting for the proverbial pot to boil. The dinning area also opens to the media room. The media room has a full-size sleeper sofa which provides additional sleeping space if needed.
The upstairs, the master suite is a comfortable suite with King size bed and features a bathtub, dual vanities, sky-line, separate shower, and closest. There are additional two bedrooms and a bonus room upstairs. The two bedrooms, one with King size bed and the other with Queen size bed, share a full bath. There is also a bonus room, which has two Full size beds and separate full bath, ideal for kids/teenagers room.
The property is about 1.2 mile/10 minutes bike ride to the beach.

With family spread across 5 states, we do a lot of traveling but I can honestly say that this was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had and one of the best locations/homes we have ever stayed in. We had a wonderful family vacation topped off with our daughter’s coastal wedding and the house was perfect for all of our needs! We greatly enjoyed morning coffees on the deck overlooking the lagoon, all of the natural light coming in through the beautiful windows with wonderful scenery of the low-country vegetation and wildlife, and the expansive living areas for lounging, laughing, and just enjoying one another’s company. Additionally, the quick responses from the host/hostess was much appreciated! Definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone interested in heading to the beautiful coast of SC.

It was exactly as described. Nice location right on a lagoon with lots of shade on the property, a porch overlooking it with a gas grill which made for a great place to sit and relax or cook. Lots of beds to fit at least two families. Kitchen was well equipped, different rooms for sitting and chilling, and host was very responsive. Overall it was just a great stay for all of us.

This property has potential to be beautiful and it’s located in a pretty part of kiawah’s maritime forest. 10 min bike ride to beach. The owners were responsive. The kitchen and baths have been fully renovated but updates are still underway.
The property was clean on the interior, but the decks were unusable, dirty. And outdoor furniture splintering.
Interior doors did not lock, bedroom decor is dated, carpets really need to be replaced. Kids bedroom is in odd location of 3rd bedroom and ran hot, no HVAC flow. Sleeps 12, but 2 in sofa bed off kitchen with no privacy.
Definitely see potential in this property after the renovation is completed
