I loved how kooky the house was. Felt like we were having a nostalgic family holiday in a home with loads of character. I would definitely love to go back and stay there again.

Very well equipped kitchen, great location- short walk to village, clean and tidy.
Double bed was quite hard. Living space was a bit smaller than I thought it would be from photos and the fireplace (and stairway) felt like it was right in the middle of the living space.
Bathroom was kinda pokey and all in one.

The fire was lovely, warmed everything up really quick. Beds were comfy and bedding was clean and cosy. Location was excellent, short walk into town.
Bit tired and run down, very ‘kiwi bach’ like. Not sure it is great value for money given condition of property. Sound carries through whole house, stairs are particularly noisy. Beds are all very short. Very cold in winter until fire lit.

Location was good.
Decking and the outdoor furniture.
Relaxing lounge with nice view.
Pet friendly.
No heat pump just large sweep fan high up in lounge. It was very hot while we were there.
Stairs down from decking are getting rather worn, dangerous for younger people.
Stairs up to bedrooms very noisey.
Bathroom very small.
Pet friendly but not secure.
