Yarm View Guest House and Cottages

Central location. Warm welcome. Could park outside.

Noisy ( too warm to have window closed). Mattress could do with replacing. Mould in bathroom.

The room was well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very good. The tea/coffee facility was well stocked and the beverages very good. The premises were on the High Street, and so handy for other amenities. The host was friendly and very helpful.

A small point: the bathroom could have done with an extra light for shaving. Other that that, there was nothing not to like.

Comfortable, well furnished room, superb location within Yarm. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

The hosts were great, even picking us up from the station and allowing us to leave our luggage and location is excellent. We were given an "upgrade" from guest house to cottage. Good pillows.

I'm very sorry to be negative because of the kindness of the hosts but the cottage didn't seem to have been cleaned very well. We found a sprouting onion in a kitchen cupboard ( I have a photo of it) and dirty glasses. The seal around the bath and shower glass were black. The toilet needs a new seat. There was a rip in the quilt cover on the double bed, peeling plaster at the front door and quite a few cobwebs and dust. We certainly weren't expecting too much for the price and understand the property is old but it could do with an update. Maybe the guest house would have been better. SORRY.
