Tavira Flamingos Flat

After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the apartment. It is a great big, spacious apartment and the kitchen and apartment had everything that I could think of someone would need. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, cutlery, chopping boards, paper towels, big fridge/freezer, coffecups, dish soap, dishwasher with a soaptabled provided. There was a washing machine with lots of space to dry your clothes. To get to the pool you could simply hop over the concrete barrière across from the kitchen. The pool was very big! The front gate was opened by a remote, the back gate opened automatically. So at the end of your stay you can leave the keys and drive up to the back gate that opens for you. The apartment was next to a big supermarket and a ten minutes walk to the city centre. Also I liked the 2 bathrooms and the bed was very comfortable. There was even a bodyboard you could use.

Keep in mind that you are not in de City Centre. This means driving is easy and parking is in front of your apartment behind a gate. Which is great and safe. But you will have to walk or take your car to go to the beach and the centre. So all in all I do not understand the bad reviews that I have read. This apartment was exceptionally well in regards to extras and provided items such as cleaning supplies, wash tablets, coffee, trash bags etc.

The sofa is awful, we didn’t use the living room at all Although we used the pool every day the surrounding area is looking tired and a bit shabby
