I had a great stay here. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and in a fantastic location backing right up to Bidwell Park, making it easy to get out and explore. The bed was comfortable, and even though it was a very hot weekend, the air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the place cool. The host was incredibly friendly and even offered bikes to ride around Bidwell Park, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor downsides were that the shower was a bit small and the Wi-Fi signal wasn’t always strong enough for consistent use.Overall, those were minor issues compared to everything else. It was an excellent value for the price, and I’d happily stay here again.

I will start by saying the owner was very kind and communicative - which we appreciated. And on the positive side it was very clean. That said, this property is not set up for three guests. The fold out love seat futon is not fit for an adult to sleep on. The shower is very very small. Also, while not controlled by the owner; we were without electricity both nights from 8:30 pm for 60 to 120 minutes making it a challenge to get to bed at a decent temperature and hour. While the owner said it was unusual, the rechargeable camping lantern in the middle of the dining room table should have been a clue. So a real mixed experience when our primary need was a comfy place to sleep and shower.
