About this villa rental
The Villa Le Case Nuove is a classic villa in Tuscany and family-owned for four generations.
The property is about 1 km from the sea and has about 50 ha of land with scrub and olive trees and a small lake in the hinterland. Long walks are possible.
The villa, with about 800 square meters of living space, was built around 1800 and has served the family as a summer and country residence ever since. At the front is a classic garden. Under the shade of the trees, some of which are over 150 years old, even hot days can be very pleasant.
A large number of loungers, benches and garden furniture as well as a long dining table and a grill are available in the garden. The garden is looked after by two gardeners every week.
The pool built in 2002 has a size of 20x10m and is located about 150m from the house. The pool is also occasionally used by 3 other families, but the size of the facility offers enough space and privacy. The pool is open from June to August, in the other months on request.
The villa is exclusively furnished with antique furniture, but also has a modern standard such as gas central heating, washing machine and dishwasher. On the ground floor there is a dining room with a table for 14 people, a lounge with an open fireplace, a studio and a spacious kitchen. Upstairs there are 7 bedrooms (5 doubles, 2 singles). The rooms are 5m high, offer enough space for additional cots and have a view of the garden and the sea.
There are also 2 charming, classic tiled bathrooms and 3 other smaller bathrooms.
Castiglioncello is 18 km south of Livorno and can be reached quickly from Pisa Airport. It is a grown little place with old trees and typical Italian character: small restaurants, street cafes, tennis courts, mini golf, an open-air cinema, excellent shopping, a weekly market and last but not least the beach. Bikers, joggers, divers and golfers also get their money's worth.
The surrounding area offers an extensive cultural offer: Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra, Bolgheri and Pisa can be reached by car in about 30 to 60 minutes.
A chef can be booked on request to prepare traditional dinners in the villa's kitchen.
A breakfast service can also be organized.
The villa is ideal for small family celebrations, weddings or birthdays.

Wonderful stay at fantastic villa, delightful breakfasts and chef prepared dinners, easy and gorgeous! Night noise from neighbors til somewhat late, sadly. Lots of laughing and fun at the pool and in the front gardens.

The villa is extremely charming and historical with lots of space for groups to spread out both indoors and in the park areas.
We discovered the dreamlike domicile a few years ago and it was great to return now, after the pandemic.
The villa and its furniture has massive charm with a beautiful and large terrace. It’s located on beautiful and tastefully landscaped grounds and the pool area behind the villa is magnificent.
All communication with the owner was uncomplicated, warm and friendly, both prior to our arrival and during our stay.
It’s very easy to recommend staying here.
