Down by the Sea | Ocean Views + 2 Community Pools!

It was a great location and we enjoyed the entire time.

We had a great time on our stay, the location was perfect! Loved both front and back decks, the view was so lovely. The online descriptions and pictures were accurate. It was helpful to read the comments of others so we were prepared for the stairs. It took us an awhile to figure out which pool was ours but once we did it was nice as there was a hose to clean off the sand.

Beautiful condo, amazing ocean view! Absolutely loved the short walk to the beach! The balcony is so nice, we enjoyed several meals out there! The place looks and feels clean. Pools are a bit inconvenient to get to. Stairs leading up to the unit, are rough, get prepared for a workout, especially bringing your luggage, groceries, etc. up stairs. Pack your own blankets, we weren’t able to use the blankets provided, they were thrown in a closet, clearly not washed between guests since they smelled. Pack toilet paper, hand soap, trash bags, none of that is provided. Other than for those few things, we really enjoyed our stay.

Carolina Beach has always been a selected destination for us. The property had many positives but also some negative details. Proximity to the Beach was awesome. No noise, and tranquil neighbors. The location is too far away from entertainment and restaurants. Need a vehicle to reach dinner places. The apartment was spacious yet cozy. The Beach view from the balcony was very welcome. Some negative aspects: The internet service signal was so poor, none of the streaming devices worked. Cable did not work in the living room TV. The previous bed linen had been left in the sofa beds and appeared used and dirty. Had to change them both with the provided linen. The bed mattresses were of poor quality and extremely hard to sleep in. The kitchen had very limited things. NO ONE xtra trash bags were provided. A huge negative aspect was parking. Even though we had 2 parking permits, there were no spaces left on the busy holiday weekend. We had to pay street parking several times even though we had paid for our stay on premises. Suggestion is to have assigned parking spots. Another detail is the far away office where we needed to pick up the parking permits and key fobs. That was inconvenient and inpractical.There was NO outside grilling capabilities. The pool was extremely small and crowded. Not very inviting or healthy.Overall, we made the best of the situation and had a fantastic stay “making lemonade out of lemons”!!
