About this apartment rental
Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Oceanfront Condo located on the North End of Carolina Beach. Direct access to Freeman Park and the Carolina Beach Fishing Pier, prime surfing spots, and one of the best beaches on the island. Large covered, oceanfront deck is perfect for people watching and catching that beautiful Carolina Beach sunrise. Master bedroom has queen size bed and attached bathroom. The two guest bedrooms share a bath, one has a queen bed, the other two singles…sleeps eight with pull out sleeper sofa. Unit has one car garage parking and outdoor parking for one additional vehicle.
Pets accepted with $100 pet fee. Additionally, this condo building has very unique feature for dog owners. Due to its location at the North End of Carolina Beach, and being adjacent to Freeman Park, it's one of the only places on the island where you can take your dog on the beach year-round...even during Summer season, when almost all the island beaches are restricted for dogs. All directly in front of your condo.
All reservations (except monthly rentals) include our linen package at no additional cost. The linen package includes all bedding, personal towel sets for each guest, beach towels, bathmats, and a kitchen towel set.
Entertainment - Highspeed dedicated Wi-Fi at Ocean Rays. There is a TV in the living room, and the Master bedroom. The TV is the living room is a smart TV and is pre-loaded with streaming apps and internet Television stations. Both TV are connected to a TV antenna for access to local channels and sports. The TV in the living room has spare HDMI and usb ports for connecting other devices you may want to bring from home.
In addition to our full linen package, we provide all rentals with starter rolls of toilet paper, a liquid hand soap dispenser at each sink, 2 dishwasher cleaning tabs, and trash bags in each can. Each property has a vacuum, Swiffer mop, a bottle of multi-purpose cleaning spray, and a set of cleaning rags (you are not required to clean, but these items are there if you do need them). You will need to bring personal toiletry items (soap shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, etc.),
food and condiments, additional paper products, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, Kleenex, trash bags, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, etc.
This property comes stocked with a small supply of beach equipment...4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, and kids sand toys. These items are there for your use during your stay.
Property requires seven night stay during peak season, Sunday to Sunday. If still available less than 1 week out, dates may be reserved for stays shorter than 1 week (usually 3/4 night minimum).
Hurricane Policy - At no additional cost to you, all Sun Coast Vacation Rentals reservations include our Hurricane Protection Plan. If your property is subject to a mandatory evacuation order for any reason, you will receive a prorated refund for rent and taxes for any unused nights that the order is in effect.

Pros: Great place to take your dog. Place is clean. View and location are excellent. Large outside porch with very nice furniture. Linen package was outstanding. Hot water never ran out when taking showers. AC worked well.Cons: Oven was broken. Stove did not work and one burner did not work. We only had the use of the top 3 burners. Stove was never repaired. That should have been fixed before we arrived. There is very little light for the kitchen. Difficult to see and cook during the night. Tikki bar on the right front side can be loud throughout the day. There was construction going on next to us on the left. They arrived at 8 am. Their foul language could be heard and the noise from tools they were using.Beds are not comfortable. Kitchen supplies are limited. I would bring your own pan and eating utensils. Coffer making was dirty. We decided not to use it. There was no laundry detergent provided. If you have dogs, this is the perfect place to go. It's nothing fancy, however, it is worth staying.

Got this place with a few friends to celebrate my birthday and I’m so glad I did! It was right on the beach, you can watch the waves from the balcony, and communication was mainly timely. The only thing to note is that there is a bar on the pier nearby that is a bit loud but it’s convenient to have so close and the music stops at night.

The condo was perfect for our weekend trip. It was wonderful to be able to take the dogs on the beach all day and not worry about high season restricted hours. The condo was very clean and an easy walk to the beach.

Host interaction was great. The construction next door was loud. The overwhelming scent of perfume on the sheets caused headaches and skin rashes. Part of my short time there was spent washing the sheets. It’s a good but old house. Couch cushions are worn out. Kitchen well supplied. Lots of towels. Overall we had a great time and are looking forward to the next adventure.
