B&B Concept

Top locatiom, clean, very friendly staff.

Rooms are new and fully functional. Spotted clean. Breakfast was good and abundant. Location is very central and major sightings are within walking distance (about 30 minutes). Public transport is just few minutes away.

The B&B occupies a floor in a private building. 5 modern rooms have been realized leaving small space for the breakfast tables in the common hallway. It was somehow awkward that the B&B offers space for 5 rooms but only 4 tables for breakfast were provided. We were among the first to join breakfast every morning, so we had no problem, but the last couple showing up had to wait till someone finished. Boze, the host, was were kind but breakfast won't be ready before 8:30 in the morning: so people with early starts might not take vantage of the included breakfast. There is no closed space to leave your luggage at checkout, so you have to leave your belongings at the space dedicated for breakfast and accessible to anyone. TV has only few open channels in local language visible

Clean room with a balcony facing the rear of the building which we found very quiet and combined with window shutters and comfy bed we had perfect sleep, perfect after a long journey. You also get a small fridge good for travellers with a refrigerated case like us. In the morning we served breakfast buffet style in the hall of the apartment and the man at the reception even made us coffee himself which was nice. Luckily we found parking at the spa park in the back of the building but you must pay a small amount. Otherwise the host redirects you to either public parking nearby or private ones. All in all, we had perfect stay for one night and also visited Zagreb in the evening and Medvedgrad castle next morning. Don t miss the castle, it has a wonderful panorama of the city and surroundings.

We got served mozzarella with bitter over-the-best-before taste. Also there is no soundproofing. We could hear not only quiet talk from the next room, but also much louder traffic noise and trams from the street below.
