I stayed at this traditional Japanese capsule hotel in Nagoya to attend the F1 Grand Prix in Suzuka. The hotel fully embraces the event by having extra items to eat and drink in the lounge (and for free!), and a special start time of 5am for breakfast so you can arrive at the track for the morning action. The capsule itself is quite big and comfortable. Everyone is super quiet, polite and respectful

Great experience of a capsule hotel, felt very secure and comfy. It’s a must-do as a solo traveler. You have a shoes locker at the entrance and you make your way around in slippers (multiple sizes available), a large locker for storage, free breakfast and dinner as well as coffee/soft drinks throughout the day and free alcohol in the evening. There’s an artificial onsen that’s great for relaxing after a day out. In terms of location you’re able to get to the Svience Museum and Nagoya Castle easily. I also travelled to the Suzuka Grand Prix easily enough.

Be mindful that showers and bathing are communal. Private showers are not available.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities especially the onsen and massage chairs are great and clean. Amenities are provided. Unlimited free flow of drinks. Convenient location as there are heaps of food options and safe surrounding for solo traveler especially ladies.

Stayed in a dormitory. Although was told that the repacking baggage area is at level 5 (locker area), but there are some guests that still pack their luggage at the sleeping area. Some of the guests are quite loud early in the morning. Breakfast was a little disappointed, was only given curry rice (without any ingredient in it) and miso soup.
