Don’t get ripped of

I would be very careful choosing this place. I had to cancel after the host charged me 75 euros cleaning fee and want to charge me another 250 euros deposit, which I feel ai would never see again. It’s important to check all hidden conditions regarding this location. It’s a sub-basement apartment .

The apartment was clean and so well situated, just a short walk to the old town and historical sites

Location was great , very central to all of the sites in Malaga.

The only thing I can think could be improved are some better pans for cooking, and perhaps a few simple condiments such as salt and pepper could be provided? These really didn’t cause real concerns, just things that would be a nice touch.

Great location, no major concerns but defo some tweaks

Great location, very central.

Electricity went out constantly no matter when taking all of our plugged things out whenever we cooked, one mirror in the whole apartment isn’t ideal for four girls.

Not bad at all

Good location, close to amenities and central. Decently equipped kitchen. Lockers and terrace in the building. Easy to find and access. It was clean and comfortable enough. Good that check out was at 11am.

The building is mainly holiday apartments. We didn't know this as it's not really specified. It was quite loud at any given point because of this. The balcony was really small and dirty and all the AC water would leak on the floor so it was not very usable. Could have been cleaner on the whole. There was a body wash and a shampoo dispenser but the former was empty. An extra few toilet rolls would have been nice too.

Walking distance to all major attractions.

Location was great. Unit was large, large bathroom. Unit has balcony. Will stay again. Office very helpful. No early check in or out.

AC only in living rooms. Fans in bedroom. Will be great if TV was in bedrooms. Stayed mid August, temperature not too hot.

Great location but a "bare bones" rental

The location was perfect - a short walk to MANY plazas and restaurants, decent grocery store only 3 min away, 20 min walk to the main train station, 15 minutes to the port, 10 min to the cathedral and Alcazaba.

Very poorly equipped kitchen. It was like cooking when camping outdoors. Absolutely no colour or homey touches in the place - blank white walls, no decorative touches. A grey sofa bed was it in the living area, no additional chairs. Bedrooms had a grey throw and 2 orange print throw pillows.

Great value for money

I was pleasantly surprised, given some of the negative reviews. As we booked a “superior” apartment it had two spacious bathrooms with showers. The apartment was a fair size, clean and not too noisy, although it might be at weekends. The full length balcony was a bonus. We appreciated the key safe, saving carrying and possibly losing the key!

Exceptional

The apartment is huge, very clean and very comfortable! There is a huge common space, from witch you go to the terrace(there is no view or window but enough to sit and talk with friends), and from there you get to three rooms. Every room has its own bathroom and its own air conditioning. The city center is close by, and there are a lot of shops and mini markets close by.

The neighborhood is not very nice, but we did not feel unsafe. There was only one set of keys for the five of us. There should be more stuff in the kitchen.

Seems like no cleaning at all. Rooms are VERY dirty. Dust and hairs on the floor etc. A bedspread was dirty. Walls are dirty. PS: photos of the appartment are real. but made right after renovation. The current state is disappointing.

I booked this place when i arrive can't find it i called the hotel many time they don't answer and send them messages via booking.com and no answer and wait for more then one houre for reply but they don't Finally they send me a reply and they ask me if i want to gwt direction i must pay first the deposit via a link they send but for me i already paid everything via booking.com th full amount of the the room i said this to them and didn't answer again to the midd night when i was found othe rhotel to stay they sent again pay first the deposit didn't know why they ask for deposit and i already paid everything So please avoid to book at this hotel hard to find bad service there lot of nice place in malaga Even in location is not good you go to a big building then you have to wait donw to send you where they are if they answer to you as they don't answer and also askong for deposit even you already paid everything

very good value for money and great location , very clean and spacious flat for 2 people and would definitely recommend

the property was very clean, had all facilities which you need ( plates, cutlery, internet, Netflix, heather, etc) and 5 mins walk to center of Malaga. closed to all bars and restaurants.

can be a bit noisy at night but not too bad as the room was at the back of the property . it was also a shame that the roof terrace was closed as I guess was peak time of the year. also the back y was in front of the wall with no view.

I was not happy about the accommodation but was refused a different apartment.

It was an easy 10 minute walk to the college. At night it was quiet.

There were no windows from which to see sky. The terrace had four concrete walls, no view of anything at all and there was a drain running through it. The shower recess was mouldy and the shower door was broken.

A great place to stay for a holiday in Malaga.

Very good placement just to the north of the pedestrian area. The apartment was quite roomy and had a fully functional kitchen. Very cheap for what you got.

Slightly 'noisy', not that there was much noise, but what there was, carried through the building. Some distance from train/metro station.

Short trip to Malaga

Really nice apartment in a convenient location and great value.

Unfortunately we had no electricity from when we arrived in the afternoon until the following day. There didn't seem to be an urgency in sorting this despite the whole of the second floor having this issue. On our final day the locks to the front door of the complex were changed without notification and we had an issue getting out of the building. Homeabout need to keep their customers much better informed in future. We did not let these events affect our enjoyment of our holiday but it is something we could have done without as we were only there for three nights.

Adequate

It is in a great location, easy to walk to the city centre and beach. Two spacious double rooms and a decent bathroom.

The Wifi was really bad, we barely had connection and we couldn’t connect our Netflix for some reason so couldn’t use the TV, and the hairdryer didn’t work. Also during our stay there was some kind of electrical blackout in the building which not only broke our phone chargers (we had to buy more which was an extra expense for us) but caused us to not have electricity or hot water for a full day.

5 nights in Malagaaaaa!!

Good location. In walking distance to bars, restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. Good size with plenty of space for our group of five. Everything was exactly as described on the website and communication between ourselves and the host was very efficient and friendly.

The air conditioning was only in the living area. The bedrooms have ceiling fans but still felt quite warm at night. Some of us found the mattresses a little uncomfortable but the bedding was clean and the pillows were nice and soft.

Convience of Keysafe, location, supermarkets.

Excellent: no organising of key hand over, no fear of losing keys, 1 key was enough for 4 of us because of key safe. All forms and deposits completed before arrival. The girls in the office were extremly helpful, effecient and friendly.

Very reasonable accommodation - not a bad place to rest your head after a busy day in the city

Great location and easy to check in and out :) also very reasonable price.

The room wasn’t like the photos - I appreciate not all of the rooms available can be photographed but it was less than I expected it to be. The iron was completely burned and as soon as I turned it on it smelt like it was on fire and was very hot. The shower doors were coming off their rails making it difficult to close the doors when showering.
