Beautiful Cabin with Hot Tub!

We had a very nice stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy and the Hot Tub was great.

This house is for sale, and it seems that the owner has not had much experience as a VRBO host. I never received the check in information through VRBO, I had to ask her to send it to me by text. The stairs to the front door of the house (on an upper level) were covered with several inches of snow. If we had arrived much later, in the the dark, it would have been dangerous. We asked if we could use the garage door entry instead, which she agreed to. The stairway from the garage to the house was narrow and low for an average sized man to negotiate but we managed to haul our luggage up. There were not enough towels in the kitchen and bathrooms, and no extra towels for the jacuzzi. We eventually found some more wet towels in the dryer. There was no hand soap in the upstairs bathroom. The house thermostat was set to 55 degrees, and there were no written instructions on how to reset it. I did ask the owner over the phone, and we just kept resetting it every hour or so while we were there. The good parts of the house are that it is easy to get to from the highway, the road is regularly plowed of snow, it is close to supermarket and convenient for access to Northstar, Squaw, Alpine Meadows and Sugarbowl. The jacuzzi on the porch was new and very clean and easy to use. The house was large enough for our family of 5 adults.
