Great location and friendly staff

Good location if you want to visit nature. I would recommend traveling by car or renting one as the distance to certain places can be a bit further, but from here you can easily reach Eifel, Köln, Remagen and other beautiful places. The room was good, clean bed and comfortable. Breakfast was included which is always nice, it's a simple breakfast but they do make you fresh egg or bacon with some coffee or tea. Within walking distance there's an old building up the hill that gives a great view of the town, definitely recommended. The staff is very friendly, and eating at Haus Caspari looked very affordable (sadly I didn't have a chance to try anything other than some desert)

Parking can be a bit of a problem. The owner did let me park next to the building, which I appreciate a lot. The space is very limited though so there's a chance you might have to park on a paid spot (10 eur per night where i looked)

A great stay in Altenahr

Steffi & Andrea are great hosts. Everything is done well and the whole place is beautifully presented. The food is all homemade and Haus Caspari's location is in the heart of the town. Our room was on the first floor and the balcony looked out into a lovely living roof, full of plants and attractive to wildlife. All you could need is provided for but if there's anything else, just ask.

Great stay in a beautiful place

The staff is very friendly and the location is the best in town. Also the rooms are everything you might expect and more! Comfortable and modern.

From around 7:30 there are a lot of bells ringing nearby. Not just to mark the (half) hours, but more often. When you are sleeping with the window open you hear them quite loud.

Nettes kleines Hotel mit zuvorkommenden Personal, das keine Wünsche offen läßt

sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, das auf alle Wünsche eingeht. Eigene Konditorei mit tollem Kuchen. Sehr schöner heller Restaurantbereich. Das Zimmer war renoviert mit sehr schönem Bad (ohne Fenster) und Balkon.

Ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt um im Ahrtal einen Urlaub zu verbringen.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und es wurde auch immer nachgelegt. Auf Allergien wurde sehr gut reagiert und sogar extra Sachen eingekauft. Die Unterkunft ist neu und der Frühstücksraum ist auch das Restaurant. Es ist lichtdurchflutet und man kann sogar fast alle Seiten öffnen im Frühstücks-/Restaurantbereich. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die mit viel Liebe gestaltet wurde. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.
