Great staff and lovely bar but room needs refurb and more amenities

Location and parking good. Debra and other breakfast staff were very attentive and kind to us English speakers

No air-con, no fan, no conditioner in bathroom. We were in back of hotel room so we'd a lot of NOISE from church bells, cars starting up at midnight and 7am and building work happening so close outside. I understand since flood the building work is essential but without air-con you have to have windows open so can't escape noise

Pleased we stayed here.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes. We have stayed in this area for many years and after the flood disaster wondered if we would ever go back. However Hotel Ruland have certainly given us a reason to return and I am sure once the surrounding building works are complete it will be more than perfect

Very poor

Too much noice from the church every hours even in midnight . Beds are not suitable for couples . When hotel is full booked, finding a parking lot is terrible . Breakfast lication and view is nice .

The rooms are much smaller than you can see in the photos, and in our room has very bad smell from toilet. When we arrived at the hotel this very bad smell in the room and the bathroom ruined us. We discussed this with the hotel reception, but they told us that since the hotel is fully booked, we could not change the room and we endured . this stench until the last day.

Ein schickes Hotel, was sich deutlich im Preis widerspiegelt. Gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal.

Die Personaldecke beim Frühstück war leider zu gering. Da gab es im Service und der Buffetbestückung Einschränkungen.

Prima verblijf!

Het ontbijt was super! De kamer in een bijgebouw was keurig. Hotel goed bereikbaar en parkeren bij het bijgebouw en toegang met je kamersleutel via een slagboom. Na alle ellende wat er in 2021 in altenahr gebeurt is ziet het dorp er al heel goed uit. Men ziet wel nog de resten van de waterramp en ze bouwen nog steeds aan wegen en bruggen. Leuke wandeling de berg op naar de ruine met een prachtig uitzicht. Leuke plekken in de omgeving bezocht.

We hadden een kamer op 2 hoog in het bijgebouw, dat heb ik niet goed of kunnen lezen bij de boeking. Het bijgebouw heeft geen lift.. dus als men zware koffers heeft... De kamer was redelijk groot maar de badkamer daarentegen zeer klein, Door middel van een schuifdeur bevond zich een douche ,wc en wasbak. Zeer klein vooral als men groot en fors is...:) We misten een planchet, waar onze cosmetica op kan staan. Vooral als men een paar dagen vertoeft handig. Het restaurant heeft een zeer sjieke uitstraling en nodigt niet uit om na een wandeling even binnen te "vallen voor een kopje koffie, bij vraag of en we een kopje koffie konden drinken konden we in de "lounge" zitten, wat voor ons onduidelijk was waar dit was... en bleek een bank midden tussen de etende gasten te zijn... voor ons niet gemakkelijk.. Het avond eten was ook zeer prijzig, maar ook hier kan men zich natuurlijk vantevoren informeren:) Ik zie deze info niet als negatief maar eerder als nuttige info:)

Fraai gelegen hotel met een ruime, schone kamer.

Zowel het avondeten als het ontbijt was uitstekend. De kamer was voldoende ruim en zeer schoon. Er was voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Her personeel was beleefd, vriendelijk en toegewijd.

De wijnkaart was wat beperkt. De menukaart ook.

Grandioses Hotel mit absolut gastfreundlichem Ambiente

Ich bin selten so begeistert, aber hier stimmte einfach alles! Wir sind spät angereist, haben noch etwas zu essen bekommen. Sogar ein gratis Zimmer Upgrade und das Personal war überaus freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend. Auch das Frühstück. Mega! Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise, aber das war für unser Vorhaben (Klinikaufenthalt) ein guter Start in den Tag und das Ambiente bzw. Rundumpaket, war sehr wohltuend und stimmungsvoll. Zur Abreise gab es eine hausgemachte Marmelade geschenkt. Ich war schon in vielen Hotels, aber so ein Highlight habe ich noch nirgendwo erlebt. Onze 2-persoons slaapkamer, kamer en badkamer waren erg klein...de matrassen waren vrij hard en niet gelijk, en onze tv deed het niet! En er is geen airco!

Sehr schönes Hotel und ein fantastisches Restaurant. Unser Zimmer war nicht das neueste, aber alles war in Ordnung. Nespresso Maschine mit Kapseln immer ein Highlight! Man kann nur hoffen, dass das Ahrtal bald wieder voll aufblüht. Ruland zeigt, wie es geht....

Unsere Tischreservierung über den bookng.com Chat war nicht im System, aber das kann passieren. Wir hatten trotzdem einen schönen Platz und vor allem: Perfektes Essen!

Sehr schönes Hotel auch für Radtouristen.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich mit viel Auswahl und der Möglichkeit sich frischen Saft von Äpfeln, Karotten und Ingwer zu machen. es gab sehr guten Lachs. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir unter einem Carport mit ausreichend Platz abstellen.

Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber da wir nur auf der Durchreise mit unseren Fahrrädern waren,passte es schon. Bedingt durch die Baumaßnahmen am Bahnhof durch die Flutkatastrophe 2021 war es morgens gegenüber der Ahr etwas lauter, aber O.K.

Gelungene Tage an der Ahr dank dem Hotel Ruland! Es lohnt sich, wieder an die Ahr zu fahren!

Sie ist komfortabel und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Essen ist sehr ansprechend, und es fehlt nahezu an nichts. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Idyllischer, ruhiger Garten zur Ahr, supertolles Zimmer, gut erreichbar, auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, genügend Parkplätze

Super welness faciliteiten en zeer schone en nette kamer. Medewerkers waren vriendelijk en correct. Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en vers. Goede ervaring al met al, zeker een aanrader.

Helaas kon ik geen hapje meer eten omdat het restaurant vol zat, maar dat had ik kunnen verwachten op goede vrijdag (in Nederland wordt het echter niet zo enorm gevierd dus vandaar mijn onwetendheid). Ik had beter kunnen reserveren.

Gemütliche Sauna, tolle Umgebung, ruhiges Haus

Das Frühstück war prima und sehr reichhaltig. Für Freunde des süßen Frühstücks gab es aber nur 2 Marmeladen zur Auswahl.

Für das Abendessen wurde mir für 20 Uhr ein Tisch reserviert. Da gab es aber keine freien Tisch, und es standen auch noch Paare im Foyer, die auch noch auf einem Tisch gewartet haben. Ich sollte dann an der Theke essen. Das wird aber nicht dem hochwertigen Essen, den Preisen und meinen Vorstellungen gerecht, vielmehr fühlte ich mich über den Tisch gezogen.

Lage direkt am Fluss, sehr modern eingerichtetes Restaurant mit Terrasse - gehobene Küche. Großzügige Zimmer, kostenlose Parkplätze.

Der Baulärm, der natürlich den schweren Flutschäden von 2021 geschuldet ist. Watt mutt datt mutt!
