★ Wood Burning Fireplace: must bring your own firewood, we do not supply. The closest grocery is 6 minutes up the road.
★ Winter Conditions & Parking: MAX 4 vehicles allowed. (Nov 1–May 1, roadside parking is prohibited due to snowplows). The property sits at 7,000+ ft with an inclined driveway — 4WD or chains are required in snowy conditions. Snow removal is handled by a contractor, so vehicles must be moved during plowing. Shovels and salt are provided; plan ahead for unpredictable winter weather.
★ Trash Policy: Due to bears in the area, you MUST dispose ALL trash in the GREEN metal BEAR BOX located at the driveway, ensuring it is securely locked, and the Allen Wrench is REMOVED after locking. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a $1,500 fine. All garbage MUST BE placed into gallon plastic bags.
★ Weather Notice: Winter weather, including snow and road restrictions, is common in Tahoe. Travel disruptions due to weather are outside of our control and are not grounds for refunds or cancellations. Travel insurance is recommended.

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful, the beds were comfortable, and check-in was easy. A perfect getaway, we can’t wait to come back!

We had some awesome family time at this cabin. HVAC for the win - it was a beautiful and warm weekend; we were very thankful they had real HVAC - most cabins do not! Tahoe is our happy place, the cabin was relaxing, and the local guide was helpful - we will be back and also want to check out your other properties...thank you for the great stay!

We loved Peyton’s place for our weekend in Tahoe. In a very good location near restaurants and kings beach. Everything about this place was great and Peyton was very easy to get ahold of when I had any questions. Highly recommend!

There were a few things that made our stay a little inconvenient. We had to deal with roofing and spa inspectors showing up without notice and that's due to the fact that the house was listed for sale. Not to mention the satellite/cable tv was not working which put a damper in our first NFL Thursday night football game. Also there was a note in the fireplace not to use due to repair issues. Sandy communicated some of the repairs needed to be done but nothing was said about inspectors coming. We were a little startled.. But on the bright side the location was awesome and the house was equipped with just about everything especially the kitchen. There's enough dishes to feed an army. We did run out of paper products-toilet paper,paper towels... And there was a shortage of towels. We did enjoy the spa though. Overall it was an okay stay. It seems this house needs a little more work than it looks!
