Bay of Plenty Nature Lodge

It was a perfect place for us - we wanted a Fijian experience and not a resourt experience. We liked the location, the whole setting. We were not lucky with the weather though as it was very windy, but we still did most of the things we wanted and enjoyed the village life. Our children played with the family children, visited school and got friends from there and met later to play together. The family is very friendly and helpful, we really felt welcomed and taken care of. And the food was great, Evelin`s cooking was excellent! We were 5 days there and every meal was different and delicious.

I missed warm water (for shower) but it is how they live here and as I said, a resourt/hotel was not our objective.

Friendly and proficient staff. Good meals, good vibe.

It was colder than I thought it would be at night and there were no blankets provided.

Evelyn and family are lovely, they help you with most request and they cook amazing meals. I would prefer to stay here over resort any day

No digicel network, so I was not using my phone most time Good detox, but Evelyn helped me with hotspots ever now and then

The family is very kind and try their best that you feel welcome and well. The cooking was good and also the bed&matress. The huts are a bit of a walk up a small hill, with a nice view. We were able to use the Hobie Cat (paid Activity) which was fun. We walked to the school&village which was intresting.

The huts are come down, very basic. Also you are in a spot, where with low tide you can‘t do alot if things. There‘s no beach arround, very secluded.
