Amed Sudi House

The private swimming pool and the wonderful mountain views. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Some lovely restaurants. Aldi Resto and Amed beach hotel were great. There is a cleaner (Kadec) who is very nice who comes around in the morning. Apart from that you are on your own So you need to go into the village to enquire about snorkeling, etc. There is a well enough stocked small supermarket near the beach 10 min walk. Wi-Fi was very good. I managed to conduct a webinar.

The signage from the road is misleading as there is a sign on the wrong side road. Need to call owner to get correct directions. You need to bring your own sugar, salt, coffee etc.. The cutlery and crockery are pretty basic.

The property is still in new, comfy and clean condition, just as pictured. The ac worked fine, water heater did too (water pressure in the main bedroom was okay but my niece informed me in the twin room the water pressure was a bit low). There's a fan out in the terrace that makes it comfortable to hang out there at night. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and cooking ware too (including a blender). We loved the wooden furnitures integrated in the interior which cozy up the vibe. Bu Sudi and her staff are really nice and helpful. Checking in and out was easy eventhough we checked in late at night and checked out early during Kuningan Day.

The driveway to the property once you're off the main road was a bit bumpy as it hasn't been paved. We drove a relatively small car (honda brio) and it bumped onto a big rock that was laying in the middle of the driveway. Parking space was a bit tight for our tiny car, so maybe take that into account for anybody who plans on driving bigger car to get there.
