About this house rental

Location is everything! This pristine vacation home located on the South end of Saint Simons Island has everything needed for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Quietly nestled in the heart of St. Simons Island, Demere Landing #139 is serene and peaceful and boasts beautifully landscaped grounds with two lagoons and swimming pool access. This community is centrally located with a 1/2 mile walk to the beach and a 10-minute bike ride to Pier Village entertainment, restaurants and shopping on the island.

This newly updated pet friendly unit with new flooring, furniture and beds comfortably sleeps eight guests with three bedrooms, a bonus room, 3.5 baths. A private elevator offers access to all the floors making it easy.

A large open main living and dining room with balcony overlooks wooded greenspace and provides the perfect setting to enjoy morning coffee with an outdoor patio table that seats six. The kitchen with stainless steel and granite countertops is well stocked with cookware, small appliances, dishes, and utensils and has additional bar top seating for three and a dining room table that seats six.

The main living area and all bedrooms have flat screens with Smart TV access, premium cable channels and speedy internet access.

There are three bedrooms with a king bed in the master bedroom and one guest bedroom, additional guest bedroom has a queen bed.  Two guest bedrooms offer private balcony access for each room.

An additional bonus room with a private balcony serves as a fourth bedroom with a twin over double bunk bed.

Parking is first come/first serve in front of the building or in the private garage for the unit which is accessed in back.

We were very impressed with the property. All necessities were provided and were very serviceable. All equipment and appliances except for the water dispensing on the refrigerator door. The water flow is restricted and needs repair ASAP. The elevator is a big plus. If this property didn't have an elevator I would not have rented it. I'm 80 years old and the elevator was great to have. Would I rent this property again? Yes, in a heartbeat. This one is a Gem. Cam

This property is very nice, clean and comfortable, however; it is a short drive to the beach, not a short walk. Also upon my arrival, my directions were not clear on which codes were for the front door or the garage. I had two codes and it was not clear where they belonged, meaning front door or garage. So I spent about 10 mins trying to enter the property. In our group we had all adults and more importantly an adult with special needs. This is not a comfortable walk to the beach when you have beach chairs, coolers, and bags. Of course they offer a golf cart for use but it’s 150.00, which is laughable, plus you have to put gas in it. If I am renting a golf cart for 150.00, that should be included in the fee that I pay when I book my stay. This should not be an additional expense, 150.00 is the total amount that I put in my car to get to and from the property, that is absurd. Please do not be fooled by the description it is a little misleading. Overall it was a relaxing time but the desire to go to the beach was less likely because of the effort to get there.
