One block from the Gulf in Holmes Beach — a very short walk to the beach, and guests who find SS Salamander South come back year after year. One guest has made more than ten trips to Anna Maria Island and calls this their go-to. That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident.
The backyard is the shared centerpiece. A heated pool sits within lush tropical landscaping alongside a gas grill and outdoor seating — the setup for evenings that naturally extend well past sunset. An outdoor shower handles the post-beach rinse. Large front deck for the family to gather.
Two bedrooms sleep five. The primary bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed. Two full bathrooms — the key practical advantage over the north unit for groups where everyone wants their own bathroom access. The living room has a 55" smart TV with streaming. The kitchen is fully stocked for home-cooked meals. Shared full-size washer and dryer on the property. Parking for 2 vehicles.
Local bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, boutiques, and the free AMI trolley are all within easy walking distance.
SS Salamander South requires a one-week minimum stay. No pets.

The property and location was perfect. We adored the quiet neighborhood, very relaxing, steps away from the beach. The pool was outstanding with the water feature. The home it self is small but perfect for our family of 4. The only complaints we had were the beds not being very comfortable. Other wise the place is great and property manager was wonderful checking in on us multiple times. Definitely recommend this rental!

Hidden gem. The perfect house for a family of 4. The house had everything we needed. The pool was amazing. Close walk to the beach. Could not have asked for a better neighborhood and place to stay for our week vacation.

This company used to have great customer service but something has changed — we experienced maintenance issues including electrical (never resolved), dryer vent appeared to be clogged, and the pool heater didn’t work (eventually fixed after multiple calls/email/visits). The office manager did not honor his team’s commitments in a “custom” rental agreement. Not the same customer experience we’ve enjoyed in the past.
